Abstract: The present invention provides a dental grinding bur with a coating material on an identification part that does not peel off easily and does not require formation of a groove in order to apply the coating material on the identification part. It includes a rod-shaped base 11, a grinding part 11b, which is at the tip of the base and fixated with abrasive grains, and an identification part 11a, which is at the periphery of the base adjacent to a grinding part and coated with an insulating, pigmented coating material.
