Abstract in simplified Chinese:一种具有可置换的上部组件之精巧污泥脱水设备。该设备包含一下部组件,一可更换的上部组件,其中具有污泥入口,众多管柱用以将该上部组件以可脱离方式间隔地架设在该下部组件,第一污泥脱水设置以适用于进行污泥废弃物的第一次脱水且是装在上部组件中者,以及一第二污泥脱水设置以适用于进行污泥废弃物的第二次脱水且系装在下部组件之上者。该第二脱水设置系经由管路与该第一脱水设置沟通且包含彼此相通的第一和第二机筒。有众多排水口用以将污泥脱水而从污泥废弃物挤压出水排到下部组件的集水槽内。本发明设备即因上部组件可依欲处理的废弃物种类而更换,所以能提供良好的顺应性且能显着地减低所得污泥废弃物的含水量。

A filter having a substantially cylindrical or slightly tapered body design which has a plurality of elongated apertures formed therethrough. Each aperture is defined side to side by a pair of elongated, wedge-like rib members disposed one on each side of each aperture, and top to bottom by a pair of cross members which present a substantially square top side and an angularly declining bottom side. The end effect is a substantially rectangular entry aperture for fluid flow with the exception of the declining bottom side which promotes smooth, low resistance entry flow. The present invention is also directed to a method of manufacture of filters having the above-described characteristics. In particular, the preferred method involves an injection molding process in which a molten plastic (such as high-density polyethylene, HDPE) is injected into a two-part mold. The mold generally comprises a smooth, substantially cylindrical cavity and a notched and grooved core which is inserted into the cavity in a partial surface to surface contact relationship to complete the filter mold. Due to the extremely close tolerances required by a such a core and cavity surface to surface relationship, unique mold alignment modifications were also developed.

A problem is to solve problems on removal of solids by a screen and on an installation space and pipe connection in a separator. A solution to the problem is as follows. A separator 1, which is a device for separating solids contained in influent liquid, has a separation tank 2; a partition plate 5 partitioning an inside space of the separation tank 2 into an inflow chamber 3 and an outflow chamber 4; a screen 8 provided at the partition plate 5; a liquid inlet 6 formed at the inflow chamber 3; and a discharge outlet 7 formed at the outflow chamber 4; the inflow chamber 3 is provided with a guide unit 9, 10, 10a for forming a vertical swirling flow in the inflow chamber 3 by reversing the influent liquid from the liquid inlet 6; the screen 8 is disposed along a side face of the swirling flow thus formed. This configuration permits the solids to be removed, without clogging the screen with the solids.

The invention relates to a backwash filtering device using tubular wedge-wired screen elements (8, 42) which can be accommodated in a casing (30) comprising a filter inlet (32) and an outlet (4) for the liquid that is to be filtered. Liquid can flow through the filter elements (8, 42) in both directions for filtering (24) or backwashing (26). An actuatable washing arm (5) is provided for backwashing (26). Said arm has a liquid outlet (52) for contaminated liquid which can be successively displaced underneath the flow-through cross-sections (D) of the filter elements (8, 42). By providing at least part of the tubular wedge-wired screen elements used (8) with a conical design, a backwash device with improved filtering, enhanced backwash capacity and increased energy performance in relation to the liquid flow in said filter elements is thus obtained.
