Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the monitoring labor by traveling a monitoring car along a belt conveyor via remote control and transmitting the information to a display unit via an optical fiber cable wound on a reel. CONSTITUTION:A monitoring car 2 mounted with a television camera 4, various sensors 3-1-3-5, a winding reel 7 of an optical fiber cable 6, a drive motor 8 of the reel 7, etc. is towed by a motive power car 9 and is traveled along a belt conveyor via remote control. Images and data detected by the television camera 4 and indivual sensors 3-1-3-5 are transmitted to a remote display unit via the optical fiber cable 6 and displayed. According to this constitution, the labor of a monitor of the belt conveyor is reduced.

PURPOSE:To obtain a wear- and chemical-resisting belt having suitable elongation for high tensile force by covering canvas clothes, which are formed from twin made of polyamide fibers that satisfy specified conditions, with rubber or flexible resin to form the conveyor belt. CONSTITUTION:Rubber or flexible resin is applied to one side or both sides of canvas clothes made from twine made of polyamide fibers, the relative viscosity of which is 3.5 or greater and which satisfy all the following equations (1) to (6), to form a belt. DELTAnA-DELTAnB>=0.5X10 ...(1), breaking strength (g/d)X[elongation at breakage (%)] >=46.0...(2), breaking strength (g/d)>=11.0...(3), filament denier (d) =100...(5), and index of birefringence DELTAn>=50X10 ...(6), DELTAnA and DELTAnB in e.g. (1) indicate the index of birefringence within a fiber sectional surface as shown below: DELTAnA: index of birefringence at r/R=0.9, DELTAnB: index of birefringence at r/R=0 where R: radius, r: distance from the axis.

PURPOSE:To facilitate the zigzag control and the exchange of an endless belt by providing regulation means to be fitted in guide members provided on both sides of the belt and retreated temporarily. CONSTITUTION:On both sides of a photo-sensitive belt 4, perforations 29 are perforated, and sprocket wheels 31 and 32 are rotatably provided on a support shaft 33 on the outsides of the belt for fitting in the perforations 29. In the center part of the support shaft 33 of the sprocket wheels 31 and 32, levers 34 and 35 are provided to be rotated round a shaft 36. The shaft 36 is fixed on the outside device 1, and on the levers 34 and 35, springs 37 are fitted to keep the sprocket wheels 31 and 32 in touch with a roller 7. This construction permits to facilitate the control of the zigzag movement and the exchange of the belt.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the size and the weight of a drive means by shifting the center of a bush of a front shaft which is fixed to a connecting link, from the centers of pins for connecting the links. CONSTITUTION:The center of a bush 11 engaged with a step front shaft which is fixed to a connecting link 12 is shifted by B from the centers of pins 7 which connect links 6 together. Step chain having high destruction strength may be constituted at the same pitch as that of a unit link of a step chain having low destruction strength. In a bulky man conveyor, the size of a sprocket which drives step chains may be reduced, namely, the drive means may be made smaller and more lightweighted.

Abstract:
An improved method of transporting materials or products for chilling or freezing comprising the use of a multi-tiered, spiral path conveyor belt capable of tight radial turning in a restricted area to immerse the materials or products into a tank containing a cooling fluid and circulating the cooling fluid past the material or product is presented. The materials or products may or may not undergo chemical preparation prior to immersion, depending on the type of materials or products to be chilled or frozen. The cooling fluid, which can be food-grade solute, is circulated past the material at a substantially constant predetermined velocity and temperature to freeze the material or product. The cooling fluid is preferably between -20 degrees centigrade and -30 degrees centigrade, and the velocity of the cooling fluid past the material is about 35 liters per minute per foot of cooling fluid through an area not greater than about 24 inches wide and 48 inches deep. Alternatively, the speed of the multi-tiered, spiral path conveyor belt can be adjusted to increase or decrease the rate of immersion of the materials or products into the cooling fluid. All components of the multi-tiered, spiral path conveyor belt can be constructed of food-grade plastics.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a conveyor belt comprising a flat textile product that is coated with a thermoplastic material on one side. At least 90 volume percent of both the textile product as well as the thermoplastic coating material consists of at least one thermoplastic polyolefin homopolymer, one thermoplastic polyolefin copolymer, of a thermoplastic polyolefin/elastomer mixture or of a mixture thereof.
