Système d'articulation pour un élément coulissant (2) porté par une paire de profilés fixes de guidage (11, 12), et monté mobile sous le guidage de ceux-ci, pour tourner autour d'un axe d'articulation (3) fixé audit élément coulissant. Ledit système comporte un premier élément d'accouplement (4) relié à l'axe d'articulation (3), et un second élément d'accouplement (5) relié aux profilés de guidage (11, 12). Les premier et second éléments d'accouplement sont adaptés pour s'accoupler lorsqu'ils sont alignés l'un sur l'autre, et pour solidariser l'axe d'articulation (3) du profilé de guidage de manière qu'il soit sensiblement immobile, et que ledit élément coulissant puisse tourner.

A multi-directional carrier includes a track (16) and first and second ledges (18,22) on the track. The ledges are relatively spaced vertically and horizontally. First and second discs (24,26) are supported on a bolt (28) in vertical spaced relation. One of the discs (24) engages one of the ledges (18) on one side of the bolt and the other disc (26) engages the other ledge (22) on the other side of the bolt. The underside of each disc has an angled surface (64,66) and the upper side of each of the ledges has a complementary angled surface (30,32) which is engaged by one of the disc angled surfaces. The angles of both said disc and ledge surfaces are substantially equal, being in the range of 2⁰ to 8⁰ to the horizontal, preferably 5⁰. The discs can be made of metal and the underside of each disc can also be provided with rings (116,118) of suitable bearing material engaging the ledges (18,22).

The suspension system comprises a self-plumbing trolley 30 and a track 10 in which the trolley can move along, the trolley including at least two counter-rotating discs 34, 36 rotatably mounted and vertically spaced apart, the discs having respective part-spherical bearing surfaces 35, 33 generated from a common centrepoint C, or from cen- trepoints on a line perpendicular to their rotary axes, but having unequal radii R" R 2 so that the surfaces generated by the radii have curvatures which are similar but are not congruent. The track has a pair of vertically spaced and oppositely directed rails 24, 25 each defining a cylindrical bearing surface 26, 27 which is generated from an axis which contains the or each centrepoint of generation of the bearing surfaces of the discs, which axis lies above the rail-contacting surface of the upper disc. When the trolley is mounted for movement along the track, the discs of the trolley will maintain mating contact with their respective rails, even when the centre line of the trolley and the track are in misalignment.

CONSTITUTION: A sliding door device(5) comprises a sliding door(51), a guide rail, and an aligning unit(55). The sliding door opens and closes an opening(2). The aligning unit comprises a shaft(131), moving bodies(136), and guided bodies(137). The moving bodies are installed in both ends of the shaft. The guided bodies are installed in the moving bodies, and are moved along the guide rail.

CONSTITUTION: A window opening and closing module(130) for a window system comprises an extension unit, a first sliding unit and a second sliding unit. The extension unit is operated by operating a handle(132). The extension unit moves the window back and forth of the window frame. The first sliding unit guides the horizontal movement of the window. The second sliding unit guides right and left sliding movement of the window.
