Abstract:
A system analysis apparatus includes a message reconstruction module which reconstructs observed data and data of which the observation has failed, into messages regarding a request and a response which are communicated on a system. The apparatus includes a message candidate extraction module which compares message rules with the reconstructed messages, and extracts messages in the message rules which are identical to the reconstructed messages, from the messages defined in the message rules, as message candidates. The apparatus includes a call relationship extraction module which extracts a call relationship between the message candidates. The apparatus includes a matching module which compares transaction models in which processes in units of transactions on the system have been modeled on the basis of call relationships among the processes on the system, with the extracted call relationship, and selects and determines a transaction model identical to the call relationship.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate response performance of transaction processing.SOLUTION: In estimating response performance of a new kind of transaction processing, an execution history of each kind of transaction in an existing system is acquired (S130) and, on the basis of the execution history, execution values of a plurality of parameters X1 to X6 related to operation which influences an execution value of the response performance (response index RI) and a response speed of a database system are calculated (S150, S180). With those as samples, a regression analysis is performed to derive an evaluation formula which can calculate an evaluation value with respect to the response performance of the transaction processing from the parameters X1 to X6 (S220). Then, respective values of the parameters X1 to X6 which are assumed in the new kind of transaction processing are substituted to the evaluation formula to calculate the evaluation value with respect to the response performance of the transaction processing (S230). Thus, the response performance is estimated.
Abstract:
A method of eliminating disturbance of database storage areas is provided, which includes the steps of: checking if it is time to execute database storage status analysis; analyzing a state of database storage areas and outputting values corresponding to disturbance factors as a status analysis result; checking whether each of the disturbance factors has reached a state that requires to be eliminated; and referring to an association table matching disturbance resolution processing with factors to be eliminated by the processing and selecting appropriate processing that can eliminate the disturbance caused by the factor.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual computer system capable of searching for a configuration that reduces the total of delays of memory access compared to the current configuration. SOLUTION: In the virtual computer system, a hypervisor 100 controls virtual processors 111-11n executing processes on a plurality of nodes where memory access time differs within and among the nodes. The hypervisor 100 includes a means 102 for calculating the total of delay times of memory access on a virtual machine based on affinity information (101) showing the latency and band of communications between the virtual processors 111-11n and on the amounts (131-13n) of communication between the virtual processors; and means 103-105 for reconfiguring physical resources based on the total of the delay times. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency in investment and costs for facilities by precisely optimizing a resource plan according to data centers and tasks. SOLUTION: A resource plan preparation apparatus 100 uses a throughput value acquired by an acquisition section 1401 to calculate a value of compatibility between a task and computer hardware M i mt by a compatibility value calculation section 1402. A detection section 1403 detects a predicted load fluctuation value L[stid, t] of each service tree ST stid from predicted load fluctuation waveforms of each service tree ST stid . An optimization section 1404 performs optimization processing by use of the compatibility value and the predicted load fluctuation value L[stid, t] to find optimal solutions for first to fourth objective functions. A type-based distribution ratio calculation section 1405 executes type-based distribution ratio calculation processing for different types of computer hardware M i mt. A resource plan preparation section 1406 executes resource plan preparation processing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT

Abstract:
The transaction data are acquired, treated and stored by a processing device arranged in the immediate proximity of measurement instruments, which processing device includes a control processor (H), and a storage module (S). The data are stored on non-volatile and redundant media (3,5) and under the supervision of a supervisory element (5) (possibly included within the control processor). Requests to be executed are transmitted thereto by the control processor (H) by way of a transmission path (L), and a buffer memory (8). The data involved in these requests are written and read on the storage media (3,5) via a backed-up memory (6). Permanent checks are made to verify the quality and fidelity of all internal transfers and also to back up the data in the event of an anomaly in the power supply. The safeguarded data in memory can be read upon an outside request. Application to the storage of values measured in particular by authorised apparatus for measuring volumes of liquids or solids.
