PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for congestion control in a telecommunications network.SOLUTION: A first communication terminal and a second communication terminal are provided with a first bearer and a second bearer, respectively, and are further assigned to a group for which a common group identifier is or has been stored. A first individual congestion parameter for the first bearer and a second individual congestion parameter for the second bearer of the first and second communication terminals are or have been stored. A group load indicator is defined for the group of terminals corresponding to the common group identifier. The group load indicator is monitored and compared with a group load condition for the group of the at least first and second communication terminals corresponding to the common group identifier. Congestion is controlled by adjusting at least one of the first individual congestion parameter of the first bearer and the second individual congestion parameter of the second bearer when the group load indicator satisfies the group load condition.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for group synchronization to an individual service without changing an existing network infrastructure of a provider.SOLUTION: Each terminal comprises a variable delay unit, and is connected through a low-delay communication channel to at least one synchronization unit for the purpose of calculating delay information. Further, each terminal can determine media reference information of a received media unit from the stream. The method comprising the steps of: providing one or more low-delay communication channels between the terminals and the synchronization unit; calculating delay information on the basis of synchronization information received from the terminals via the one or more low-delay communication channels, by the synchronization unit; and transmitting the delay information to at least one of the terminals to make the at least one terminal delay its output such that the outputs of the terminal group are substantially synchronized.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telecommunications network and method for regulating the use of network resources.SOLUTION: Each terminal comprises a unique identifier for accessing a telecommunications network. The telecommunications network comprises a register, an access request receiver, and an access module. The register stores the unique identifier of at least one terminal in combination with at least one grant access time interval, or an equivalent thereof, during which access for the terminal is permitted. The access request receiver receives an access request and the unique identifier for accessing the telecommunications network from the terminal. The access module denies access for the terminal if the access request is received outside the grant access time interval, or the equivalent thereof.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage the use of a network resource in a telecommunication network configured to provide a plurality of terminals with each access.SOLUTION: Each terminal A-D comprises a unique identifier to access the telecommunication network. The telecommunication network comprises: a register 6; an access request receiver 20; and an access module 21. The register 6 is configured to store a unique identifier of at least one terminal, in combination with at least one access permission time interval, or the equivalence thereof, in which a terminal access is permitted. The access request receiver 20 receives from each terminal A-D an access request and a unique identifier to access the telecommunication network. The access module 21 rejects a terminal access when receiving an access request at other than the time interval or the equivalence thereof,.

A vehicle (2) comprises sensor units (10) for collecting sensor data, and a processing unit (11) for processing the sensor data. A method of providing driving assistance information comprises the steps of: - determining the cost of pairs of acceleration values on the basis of the sensor data, each pair of acceleration values representing a longitudinal and a lateral acceleration of the vehicle, - selecting a pair of least cost acceleration values, and - providing driving assistance information including the pair of least cost acceleration values. The processing unit (10) may be arranged for providing visible, audible and/or haptic driving assistance information to the driver of the vehicle, and/or for providing steering assistance.

The invention provides a method for producing a flexible barrier sheet (200) comprising a barrier layer (103) and metallic elements (104), said method comprising: a) providing a metallic layer (102) applied on a polymeric support layer (101), the metallic layer having a first surface (105) facing the polymeric support layer and a second surface (106) facing away from said polymeric support layer; b) providing metallic elements on the second surface of the metallic layer; c) providing a barrier layer covering said second surface of the metallic layer and said metallic elements, the barrier layer having a first surface facing the metallic layer and a second surface facing away from the metallic layer; d) releasing the polymeric support layer from the metallic layer; and e) removing the metallic layer from the metallic elements and the barrier layer. The flexible barrier sheet may be used in roll-to-roll fabrication of thin film semiconductor devices requiring a high quality barrier substrate sheet, such as OLEDs.
