    Abstract: A solid-state image sensor including a semiconductor layer having a light incident side, a support substrate positioned on an opposite side of the light incident side of the semiconductor layer, photoelectric conversion elements formed two-dimensionally in the semiconductor layer, light reflection structures formed on a surface of the support substrate which faces toward the semiconductor layer, and positioned such that the light reflection structures face the photoelectric conversion elements, respectively, and an interlayer insulating layer formed between adjacent ones of the light reflection structures. The light reflection structures include a light transmission layer and a reflective metal that covers a surface of the light transmission layer opposite to a surface facing the semiconductor layer, and the reflective metal has a concave curved surface facing the photoelectric conversion elements.

    Abstract: A membrane electrode assembly includes a polymer electrolyte membrane having a first surface and a second surface facing away from the first surface; an anode-side electrode catalyst layer bonded to the first surface; and a cathode-side electrode catalyst layer bonded to the second surface. The cathode-side electrode catalyst layer and the anode-side electrode catalyst layer each contain a catalyst material, a conductive carrier that supports the catalyst material, a polymer electrolyte, and a fibrous material. The thickness of the anode-side electrode catalyst layer is greater than the thickness of the cathode-side electrode catalyst layer.

    Abstract: An electrode catalyst layer includes a catalyst material, a conductive carrier that supports the catalyst material, a polymer electrolyte containing a sulfonate group, and a fibrous material. The electrode catalyst layer includes a first surface configured to be in contact with the polymer electrolyte membrane, and a second surface facing away from the first surface. A first value is obtained by dividing a peak intensity of SO3 (m/z80) by a peak intensity of carbon (m/z12), and also dividing by a total thickness of the electrode catalyst layer, when the electrode catalyst layer is analyzed using time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (TOF-SIMS) at each of a plurality of positions in a thickness direction of the electrode catalyst layer from the first surface to the second surface. A rate of change of the first value with respect to a thickness of the electrode catalyst layer is −0.0020 or less.

    Abstract: A photomask including a photomask body having a surface on which a mask pattern is formed and to be scanned and subjected to pattern transfer to a resist through a lens assembly including a connecting portion and a non-connecting portion. The mask pattern has a first region subjected to the pattern transfer at the connecting portion of the lens assembly and a second region subjected to the pattern transfer at the non-connecting portion. The mask pattern has, in at least one of the first and second regions, a corrected line width which is adjusted by calculation such that the resist is to have a target line width as designed. The corrected line width has a stepwise change in at least one of a scanning direction and a direction orthogonal to the scanning direction. The stepwise change is made by including a correction component based on a random number.

    Abstract: In an optical structure for displaying a stereoscopic frame image on a structure formation surface, a frame motif that displays a frame image in which reflection moves is formed on a structure formation surface, the frame motif is made up of a plurality of perforated reflecting segments, each including one or more first reflecting mirrors having a reflective layer uniformly tilted relative to the structure formation surface, the tilt angle of the first reflecting mirror is different between adjacent perforated reflecting segments so as to gradually change over a plurality of adjacent perforated reflecting segments, and at least one of the plurality of perforated reflecting segments surrounds an opening provided with no first reflecting mirror.
