Abstract:
A structure of a synchronization channel in an OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) cellular mobile communication system is provided to improve a frequency error tracking performance of a terminal by increasing the number of repetition patterns in a secondary synchronous channel signal. A frame is formed by using plural symbols. The frame is transmitted through a forward link. The frame includes a primary SCH(Synchronous Channel) and a secondary SCH which are classified according to a frequency in the symbol at the same time. A cell ID is specified by a pattern in a code number which is detected by using the main and secondary synchronous channels. The primary synchronous channels are allocated at predetermined intervals according to the frequency in the symbol. The secondary synchronous channel is allocated in the frequency in the non-allocated symbol, so that more secondary SCHs are allocated in the symbol than the main synchronous channels.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for transmitting a downlink pilot signal in a mobile communication system are provided to enable a BS(Base Station) to change a scrambling code allocated to each sector and change an interference sector in each sub frame and randomize interference between the sectors, thereby preventing the continuous deterioration of channel estimation capability generated by the multiple path of the interference sector. A method for transmitting a downlink pilot signal in a mobile communication system comprises the following steps of: generating and transmitting a first downlink pilot signal corresponding to a first sector; generating and transmitting a second downlink pilot signal which corresponds to a second sector and is different from the first downlink pilot signal; and differently generating the first downlink pilot signal and the second downlink pilot signal in each sub frame.
Abstract:
A method for transmitting/receiving downlink scheduling information in an OFDMA(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) system is provided to reduce the quantity of scheduling information by using a resource block having a minimum resource block index, a maximum resource block index, or a channel with a high quality. A method for transmitting/receiving downlink scheduling information in an OFDMA system includes the steps for allocating at least one of resource blocks comprising downlink resources of the OFDMA system, to each terminal(S200); selecting the resource block for each terminal on the basis of the size of indexes of each allocated resource block(S210); generating scheduling information including terminal resource allocation information and terminal discrimination information, for each terminal(S220); and transmitting the scheduling information of the terminal to each terminal by using the selected resource block(S234).
