    Abstract: A sensor device includes an implantable sensor unit, a transponder unit, and a wired connection flexibly and electrically connecting the implantable sensor unit and the transponder unit. The implantable sensor unit is adapted to be implanted into a body. The implantable sensor unit includes a comparator and a sensor adapted to sense a characteristic of the body in vivo. The sensor is adapted to supply an analog signal to a first input of the comparator. The transponder unit is adapted to supply a control signal to the implantable sensor unit and to receive an output signal of the comparator. The implantable sensor unit is adapted to supply an analog approximation signal to a second input of the comparator in response to the control signal. The wired connection is adapted to transmit the control signal and the output signal of the comparator.

    Abstract: A device may obtain raw sensor data, collected by a sensing device, including a set of signal values and a set of temperature values corresponding to the set of signal values. The set of signal values may correspond to a magnetic field present at the sensing device. The device may determine, based on the set of signal values, a first value of a calibration parameter associated with calibrating the sensing device. The device may associate, based on the set of temperature values, a particular temperature value with the first value of the calibration parameter. The device may determine, based on the particular temperature value and a temperature compensation function associated with the calibration parameter, a second value of the calibration parameter. The device may selectively update the temperature compensation function based on a comparison of the first value and the second value.

    Abstract: A sensor system is configured to communicate at least partially protected sensor data over a communication interface. The sensor system includes a sensor element and a communication interface communicatively coupled to the sensor element. The sensor element is configured to provide sensor data in the digital domain. The communication interface is configured to generate a data package for transmission over the communication interface from the sensor data. The data package includes a data grouping comprising one or more nibbles related to the sensor data. The data package further includes a nibble indicia based on at least a portion of selected nibbles within the data grouping.

Each integrated circuit of the plurality of integrated circuits is coupled to a respective battery cell of the plurality of battery cells. Each integrated circuit includes at least one sensor configured to determine one or more operational characteristics of the battery cell coupled to the integrated circuit, and a transceiver configured to output a signal indicative of the one or more operational characteristics of the battery cell.
