PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce screw joint manufacturing cost, by reducing chaser preparing man-hours more than conventional man-hours, by keeping a screw clearance constant, even if a screw pitch is changed.SOLUTION: When applying screw cutting work by using a chaser for a pipe body 1A for a female screw and a pipe body 3A for a male screw used as a raw material of a screw joint for a steel pipe, the chaser of any one blade shape among a recessed blade shape 2B and a projecting blade shape 2A is used for the pipe body 3A for the male screw, and the chaser of the other blade shape is used for the pipe body 1A for the female screw, respectively.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of stably manufacturing a cold-rolled steel sheet with good quality by preventing a push-in flaw due to properties of an edge part of a product and trimming after cold rolling, and also to provide an apparatus of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: A pair of upper and lower circular rotary blades are pressed to a predetermined depth from the above and the below with respect to an edge part of a hot-rolled steel sheet before pickling. Shearing is applied to the edge part in an unseparated state. The edge parts are separated through pinching by narrow width rolls installed at the respective edge parts and capable of pinching only the edge parts, and then pickling and cold rolling by a rolling mill having a work roll with a diameter of ≥300 mm are applied.
