Provided are a method by which a base station performs vehicle to everything (V2X) communication in a wireless communication system, and an apparatus for supporting the same. The method can comprise the steps of: receiving a V2X bearer indication indicating a V2X bearer, wherein the V2X bearer is a bearer used for a V2X service; determining that the base station supports only a PC5-based V2X service between the PC5-based V2X service or a Uu-based V2X service; postponing a resource allocation for the V2X bearer; and ransmitting, to a mobility management entity (MME), information indicating that the resource allocation for the V2X bearer is postponed.

User equipment (UE) can transmit UE support data for semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) to an evolved NodeB (eNB) in order to effectively allocate SPS resources for vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication. The release of SPS can be directed by means of the UE support data. More specifically, a terminal receives, from an eNB, a plurality of SPS configurations for a plurality of logical channels, and transmits, to the eNB, UE support data comprising an SPS release directive for any one logical channel from among the plurality of logical channels.

Provided are a method for broadcasting system information, in a wireless communication system, by a distributed unit (DU) of a base station and an apparatus for supporting the method. The method may comprise the steps of: receiving, from a central unit (CU) of a base station, system information owned by the CU of the base station; receiving, from a terminal, a request for the system information; receiving, from the CU of the base station, a message commanding broadcasting of the system information; and broadcasting the requested system information.

One disclosure of the present specification provides a method for supporting early data transmission (EDT) by a base station. The method may comprise a step of receiving a first message from a mobility management entity (MME). A first NAS message may include downlink data. The method may further comprise a step of confirming that there is no additional data other than the downlink data, on the basis of reception of the first NAS message.

When a specific case occurs, user equipment can initiate a tracking area update (TAU) step by transmitting a TAU request. If the user equipment is using a control plane connection for the transport of user data when a radio resource control (RRC) connection failure occurs and there is no pending signaling or uplink user data, the specific case can be applied to a case in which it is indicated, to a network, that downlink data reception subsequent to the uplink data transmission is predicted.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting information in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) determines whether a failure of traffic steering, between a 3rd generation partnership project (3GPP) network and a wireless local area network (WLAN), has occurred. If it is determined that the failure of traffic steering has occurred, the UE logs information on the failure of traffic steering, and transmits the information on the failure of traffic steering to the 3GPP network when the connection with the 3GPP network is established.
Abstract:
In an aspect, a method and apparatus for performing random access in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives a first set of random access channel (RACH) resources for a short transmission time interval (TTI) and a second set of RACH resources for a normal TTI from an eNodeB (eNB), and performs random access towards the eNB by using the first set of RACH resources for the short TTI. In another aspect, a method and apparatus for performing contention based uplink (UL) transmission in a wireless communication system is provided. A UE receives resources for contention based UL (CB-UL) transmission, and performs the CB-UL transmission by using the resources for the CB-UL transmission.
