    Abstract: In a process of beam change, the base station transmits a beam change instruction to a user equipment to confirm a change from a current beam to another beam. The base station determines to change from a first beam to a second beam. The base station generates a beam change instruction to indicate the determination to change from the first beam to the second beam. The base station transmits, to a UE, the beam change instruction in a downlink control information (DCI). The base station determines whether or not the beam change instruction is detected by the UE.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide a scheduling and transmission scheme to manage multiple uplink control information (UCI) resource grants for periodic and aperiodic UCI for a particular user equipment (UE). In addition, the grant selection rules may further enable the UE to combine both periodic and aperiodic UCI within a particular UCI resource grant.     Abstract: A configurable new radio (NR) resource scheduling and indication transmission procedure that may be executed by a base station and a user equipment (UE) is disclosed. For example, a base station may determine a number of synchronization signal blocks available for transmission of non-scheduling data, and transmit an indication signifying at least one of the number of synchronization signal blocks or a location of each of the number of synchronization signal blocks. Further, a UE may receiving an indication signifying at least one of a number of synchronization signal blocks or a location of each of the number of synchronization signal blocks. The UE may further determine one or more resource elements forming the number of synchronization signal blocks where non-scheduling data has been scheduled for transmission. The UE may receive the non-scheduling data within the one or more resource elements forming the number of synchronization signal blocks.

The base station determines whether the UE has received the beam change instruction. The base station selects a third beam to communicate with the UE when the base station determines that the UE has not received the beam change instruction, wherein the third beam is a predefined beam.
