    Abstract: The present invention relates to a sunshade which provides usable electrical power by the synergistic combination of photovoltaic and thermo-electric generation. Photovoltaic [PV] cells suffer efficiency drop as their operating temperature increases especially under high insolation levels; to overcome this, a cooling system is beneficial. This invention uses air-cooling, either by forced or natural flow, powered by a heat powered thermoelectric fan to cool the surface of the PV modules, thus increasing it' s operational efficiency. The Heat powered thermoelectric fan also serves the dual function of climate control of the air under the canopy to condition the air.
