    Abstract: In einem Verfahren zur Züchtung von Mikroorganismen und einer Vorrichtung zur Duchführung desselben wird in einem Fermenterbehälter (1) kultiviert, welcher mit einem zentralen Leitrohr (18) versehen ist. Um das Leitrohr (18) herum sind in einem Sammelrohr (2) rückspülbare Filterelemente (3, 3') hängend angebracht. Das verbrauchte Substrat wird kontinuierlich durch die Filterelemente (3, 3') abgezogen und frisches Nährsubstrat zugeführt. Die auf den Filterelementen abgeschiedenen Mikroorganismen werden durch Rückspülen in bestimmten Intervallen abgeworfen, sedimentieren in den Konus des Fermenterbehälters (1) und werden dort als konzentrierte Biomasse abgezogen. Durch Kultivierung bei hohen Mikroorganismenkonzentrationen unter Erneuerung des Substrates wird eine wesentlich höhere Produktivität erreicht.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a filter device for separating undissolved substances from liquids, especially in the fields of waste water purification and water treatment. Said filter device is rotatably arranged in a container (2) and surrounded by the liquid to be filtered.
