PURPOSE: A method for fabricating nanofiber of cellulose acetate and montmorillonite is provided to obtain nanofiber with improved structural, thermal, and mechanical characteristics. CONSTITUTION: A method for fabricating nanofiber comprises: a step of preparing a mixture solution of cellulose acetate solution and montmorillonite; and a step of electrospinning the mixture solution. The method further comprises a step of stirring the mixture solution before electrospinning.

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of an acetate fiber bunch and the acetate fiber bunch manufactured thereby are provided to efficiently produce the acetate fiber bunch with a low solvent content, and to stably produce the acetate fiber bunch. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of an acetate fiber bunch includes the following steps: manufacturing an undiluted solution by dissolving raw material polymers in a solvent; discharging the undiluted solution from a nozzle(13); making a raw fiber bunch(15) by volatilizing the solvent in heating atmosphere; adding moisture to the raw material bunch; manufacturing the raw fiber bunch with a moisture content of 23 - 50 mass%; pre-drying the raw fiber bunch in a temperature of 85 °C or less; drying the raw material bunch to the uniformed moisture content; and making the acetate fiber bunch.

Flame resistant fabrics are formed by warp and fill yarns having different fiber contents. The fabrics are constructed, for example, by selection of a suitable weaving pattern, such that the body side of the fabric and the face side of the fabric have different properties. The fabrics described herein can be printable and dyeable on both sides of the fabric and are suitable for use in military and industrial garments. Methods of forming flame resistant fabrics, and methods for forming garments from the fabrics, are also described.

A multi-layer woven or kitted fabric exhibiting reversibly changeable air permeability which contains reversibly crimping cellulose acetate fibers exhibiting a percentage of crimp of less than 10 % at a humidity of 95 % or above and a percentage of crimp of 20 % or above at a humidity of 45 % or below and which has a basis weight of 100 to 350 g/m2. When the water content of the fabric is enhanced by the absorption of water or moisture, the air permeability of the fabric increases to inhibit in-clothes stuffiness or stickiness due to sweat and in-clothes temperature rise, while when the fabric has discharged the water into the outside environment, the air permeability of the fabric decreases to the original one to prevent the body temperature from lowering excessively because of the heat of vaporization and thus keep the in-clothes environment comfortable.
