Abstract:
An inbound call connection request may be received from a non-resident, directed to a controlled-environment facility resident and/or the resident's device. A determination may be made that a calling account of the resident does not have sufficient funds to pay for the inbound call, whereupon a message may be provided to the non-resident offering billing options, including at least a wireless carrier billing option, to complete the call connection. The call may be connected with the resident device in response to a determination a calling account of the inmate has sufficient funds to pay for the call or acceptance of one of the payment methods by the non-resident, along with authentication that the non-resident is associated with an address identifier (AID) of the resident device, and verification that the resident operating the device is associated with the AID of the device.
Abstract:
Provided is a control method for a control device including: acquiring a user instruction to control a control target apparatus by a user, generating control speech information in response to the user instruction, the control speech information being speech information representing content of control on the control target apparatus and including auxiliary speech information which is different information from the user instruction, and outputting the generated control speech information to a speech recognition server which executes speech recognition processing.
Abstract:
The present disclosure discloses a method for identifying an identity, device and a communication terminal. The method includes that: a voiceprint feature of a current call object and a mobile phone number of the current call object are extracted; the identity of the current call object is identified according to the voiceprint feature and the mobile phone number. The present disclosure solves the problem in the related art that it is difficult to effectively identify the identity of a call object, thus providing a method for effectively identifying the identity of a current call object and technically reducing the probability of phone fraud on a user.
Abstract:
A virtual meeting attendee includes a scheduling interface operatively coupled to a computerized meeting platform and configured to enable the virtual meeting attendee to be scheduled into meetings as a participant by users of the computerized meeting platform. The virtual meeting attendee also includes a content preparation machine configured, when the meeting attendee has been scheduled into a meeting as a participant, to receive meeting-associated content from computing devices of other participants scheduled into the meeting and output the meeting-associated content for display via a display device associated with the virtual meeting attendee.
Abstract:
A method and a system for voice transmission control. The method comprises: receiving, by a voice answering device, a voice command and transmitting the voice command to a sound control server through a network data transmission channel; recognizing, by the sound control server, the voice command, generating corresponding second VXML control information based on a recognition result, and transmitting the second VXML control information to the voice answering device through the network data transmission channel; and performing, by the voice answering device, an operation according to the received second VXML control information. With this method, the architecture and workflow of the communication system can be simplified, and the difficulty of design thereof can be reduced.
Abstract:
Apparatus and method for sharing state information using a web-enabled system and a phone service system are disclosed. In some embodiments, a presence module is used to identify a currently accessed web page to an agent during an on-line session. In some embodiments, documents are delivered to a user through a web browser concurrent with an audio message delivered by phone. Concurrent delivery of documents configured to accept an electronic signature is disclosed.
Abstract:
A method for speaker recognition comprising: obtaining speaker information for a target speaker; obtaining speech samples from telephone calls from an unknown speaker; classifying the speech samples according the unknown speaker thereby providing speaker-dependent classes of speech samples; extracting speaker information of each of the speaker-dependent classes of speech samples; combining the extracted speaker information; comparing the combined extracted speaker information with the stored speaker information for the target speaker to obtain a comparison result; and determining whether the unknown speaker is identical with the target speaker based on the comparison result.
Abstract:
A telephony communication system prevents an incoming telephony communication directed to a user from being completed if the user is not authorized to communicate with the calling party. Likewise, a telephony system prevents a user from completing an outgoing telephony communication directed to a called party if the user the user is not authorized to communicate with the called party. The telephony communication system also electronically monitors a telephony communication between first and second parties and censors portions of the telephony communication to terminates the telephony communication if predetermined keywords appear in the communication.

Abstract:
A method of authenticating an inbound caller in telephony applications. The method establishes a predetermined caller identification telephone number associated with a predetermined inbound caller identity from which inbound calls are permitted, retrieves a caller identification telephone number from an inbound caller, and then authenticates the inbound caller responsive to the caller identification telephone number matching the predetermined caller identification telephone number. A corresponding computer system and computer program product are also provided.
