A computer speaker apparatus is disclosed which comprises a speaker, signal processing circuitry interconnected with the speaker, and a housing, where the speaker and the signal processing circuitry are disposed in the housing. The computer speaker apparatus further comprises a connector capable of mating with a Universal Serial Bus or IEEE 1394 port, and a flexible support member having a first end and a second end, where the housing is rotatably disposed on the first end of the flexible support member, and where the connector is disposed on the second end of the flexible support member.

The present invention refers to an integrated electro acoustic equipment, characterised by the fact that it uses the parallelepiped case of the main loudspeaker for low frequencies, suitably provided with wheels for easier handling and transportation, as structure to contain all components of the equipment -such as audio mixer, power unit and two satellites for the reproduction of medium and high frequencies- together with electrical connections.

The best use of the electroacoustic bouzouki with perforated vessel takes place when the number of openings ranges from 2 to 6.

The invention relates to a method and apparatus for recognizing a digital audio signal in a system, in which at least some of the electronic components are at times in sleep or unenergized mode, in which method the digital audio signal is amplified and recognized, the amplified signal is decoded in a decoding circuit, the decoded signal is led to a signal processor for further processing and digital/analog conversion, and an audio signal is created from the analog signal. According to the invention, the amplified, undecoded signal is led directly to the signal- or microprocessor to be used and recognized, and the circuit implementing the decoder is kept in sleep mode unless a digital audio signal has been recognized.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for improving speaker performance and a terminal device, when a speaker is being driven, an algorithm parameter that matches the speaker is selected, to resolve a problem that adjustment and control performance is reduced because of a difference in speaker models, and can effectively improve performance of a speaker. The method includes obtaining an identify of a speaker, where the identity is used to identify the speaker; obtaining an algorithm parameter corresponding to the speaker from a preset algorithm parameter library according to the identity of the speaker, where the preset algorithm parameter library comprises algorithm parameters of speakers of at least two models; sending the algorithm parameter corresponding to the speaker to a smart speaker power amplifier module, so that the smart speaker power amplifier module drives the speaker according to the algorithm parameter corresponding to the speaker. Embodiments of the present invention is used to improve performance of the speaker.

A circuit and method for determining an ambient temperature for an electronic device having a loudspeaker are described. An amplifier drives the loudspeaker and first circuitry is configure to determine an overall temperature of the loudspeaker or the amplifier. Second circuitry is configured to determine a change in temperature of the loudspeaker or the amplifier resulting from power dissipated in the loudspeaker or the amplifier. Third circuitry is configured to subtract a signal representative of the change in temperature from a signal representative of the overall temperature and output a signal representative of the ambient temperature for the electronic device.
