Abstract: 본 고안은 액체 저장 탱크의 액위를 측정하기 위하여 탱크속에 설치될 부력 감지용 추(1)와 연결용 로프(2), 그리고 이와 연결된 중량 감지용 센서(3)를 통하여 입력된 정보를 탱크내 용액의 액위(8)로 변환 출력하는 연산 출력장치(4) 등으로 구성되어 있다.
이와 같이 구성된 본 고안은 탱크내 용액의 액위를 측정하기 위하여 부력 감지용 추(1)를 탱크의 바닥면 가까이 중량 감지용 센서(3)에 연결용 로프로 설치된다. 부력 감지용 추의 중량을 중량 감지용 센서에서 초기값으로 연산 출력장치에 입력한다. 이후 탱크내에 용액이 들어올때 부력 감지용 추가 용액에 잠기게 되며 부력 감지용 추(1)에는 추의 부피(5)와 용액의 비중(6), 추가 잠긴 용액의 깊이(7)에 해당하는 부력이 작용하게 된다.
여기서 작용하는 부력량 만큼 부력 감지용 추의 중량 감소분을 중량 감지용 센서를 통하여 연산 출력장치(4)에 표시된다.
따라서 본 고안에서는 이러한 탱크내 용액의 높이에 따라 부력 감지용 추에 작용하는 부력량이 변하는 원리를 이용하여 탱크내 용액의 높이 변화를 중량 감지용 센서를 통하여 입력된 부력의 변화량을 연산 출력장치로 환산하여 측정한다.
