PURPOSE: A device and a method for communicating a wireless wideband high frequency short-range are provided to limit the number of packets in which a transmission device can transmit based on information about the realizing method of a receiving buffer of a receiving device. CONSTITUTION: A receiving unit(910) receives the state information of a receiving buffer based on the information of the receiving device. A control unit(920) checks the information of the receiving device by performing a signaling with a receiving device. The control unit controls the amount of data which will be transmitted based on the state information of a receiving buffer. A transmitter(930) transmits data based on the controlled data amount. The control unit determines whether the receiving device supports a block ACK frame or not based on a beacon message received from the receiving device.

PURPOSE: A broadband local wireless communication method and method thereof are provided to enlarge communication arrival distance. CONSTITUTION: A source device(110) searches a list of relay devices(130,131,132) in a basic service set. A channel state between a source device and a relay device and a channel state between a target device(140) and relay device are confirmed. A relay device to operate is selected as a relay between the source device and the target device. A relay link setting request message is transmitted to the selected relay device. A relay link is set through the selected relay device.

PURPOSE: A wireless communication system capable of reducing power consumption and a method thereof are provided to reduce power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A receiving terminal receives scheduling information associated with data transmission and reception of a transmitting terminal. The receiving terminal directly performs communication with the transmitting terminal by referring to the scheduling information. A scheduling information includes information about the data transmission period. A controller(220) controls a communication unit(210) in order to be operated in a sleep mode excluding the data transmission period.

PURPOSE: A sequential transmission multi beam forming method of low-complexity by using HADAMARD matrix is provided to reduce the complexity of hardware by using the weighted value about a multi transmission antenna. CONSTITUTION: A transmission beam forming unit(130) forms transmission beam through a transmission codebook. The transmission codebook is generated by using a HADAMARD matrix. A codebook storage unit(120) stores the generated transmission codebook. A reception beam forming unit(180) forms reception beam through the reception codebook. A code book storage unit(170) stores the generated reception codebook. A spatial diversity processor(190) transmits channel information to the reception beam forming unit.

PURPOSE: A dual mode terminal, a base station, a content controller, a content transmitting method, and a terminal cradle are provided to efficiently service broadcasting content to cellular wireless network resources. CONSTITUTION: The second cellular module(510) receives content from a base station through cellular communication. A signal processing unit(530) decompresses the received content. A local area communication module(540) transmits the content to a local area terminal using a broadband. The local area communication module includes an RF unit and a scalable wireless control unit. The scalable wireless control unit determines a frequency band, the number of power amplifiers, and the number of low noise amplifiers used in communicating with the local area terminal.

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for improving the delay for decoding a code for a protocol header in a wireless communication system are provided to decode a payload during a delaying time for decoding a reed-solomon code. CONSTITUTION: A communication device includes a fixed length physical(FL PHY) header and a variable length physical(VL PHY) header(S410). The communication device encodes the FL PHY header with a first coding method(S420). A header check sequence is generated(S430). A scrambled media access control header and the HCS are generated(S440). The VL PHY header is encoded by a second coding method(S450). The communication device performs the prepend operation and the append operation of the FL PHY header and a parity bit(S470).

PURPOSE: A frame generation apparatus for protecting variable length header information in a broadband high frequency wireless system and a method thereof are provided to convert a variable length header of a frame into a fixed length header, thereby protecting variable length header information. CONSTITUTION: A frame basic header generator(1210) generates a frame basic header. A frame selection header generator(1220) generates a frame selection header. A MAC sub header generator(1222) of the frame selection header generator generates a fixed length MAC sub header.

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for transmitting and receiving data using a multi-path in a wireless communication system of distributed MAC are provided to transmit data through a path with the best channel status. CONSTITUTION: A connection management unit(1309) manages connection for link setup with a relay device and a destination device. A relay reservation management unit(1311) performs a relay reservation process for transmitting data through the relay device. A data transceiving path selecting unit(1315) determines through which path between a direct path or a relay path data will be transmitted.
