Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to form a rubber composition which is effective in preventing a ro-called 'blown' plenomenon, does not cause lowering in mechanical properties and is excellent in productivity, by adding a weakly basic hygroscopic inorganic powder having a specified structural formula as an adsorbent to a rubber. CONSTITUTION:This rubber composition contains an inorganic powder comprising a hygroscopic inorganic compound having a structure of the general formula: PMeO.nAl2O3.mSiO2.1H2O (wherein Me is a metal ion) and a pH of an aqueous solution of 1g/l of this powder in the range of 6.0-11.5 or comprising a mixed sinter thereof. The metal ion Me in the above general formula is preferably that of an alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal. Said inorganic powder is preferably a crystalline hydrated aluminosilicate. The amount of this inorganic powder is preferably 0.1-20pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. rubber.

PREPARATION:The compound of formula I having the structure of formula III (Et is ethyl) can be produced e.g. by reacting maleimide, etc., with allylamine, etc., mixing the resultant compound having the structure of formula II with triethoxysilane, etc., in a solvent such as chloroform, adding chloroplatinic acid solution to the mixture, reacting the components under stirring for 12 hr while refluxing chloroform and distilling off the solvent under reduced pressure after the completion of the reaction.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a novel silane coupling agent, consisting of a specific organosilicon compound, having excellent improving effects on mechanical properties of rubber compositions reinforced or modified with an inorganic filler without affecting processability or operability in post-treatment of the above-mentioned compositions. CONSTITUTION:The aimed pharmaceutical consisting of an organosilicon compound expressed by formula I (X is hydrolyzable substituent group; R is hydrocarbon; n is a number of 1-3; Y is a substituent group having C=C bond and an adjacent electron attractive group when no electron attractive group is present on the C=C bond or plural adjacent electron attractive groups when one electron attractive group is present). Furthermore, e.g. a compound expressed by formula II prepared by reacting N-allylmaleimide with trimethoxysilane, is cited as the compound expressed by formula I. Alumina, etc., are preferred as the inorganic filler used for rubber compositions to which the afore-mentioned pharmaceutical is applied. Sulfur, etc., are preferred as a crosslinking agent.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To attempt to improve the yield and to extend the life of a bradder for vulcanization without using a mold releasing agent, by using the bradder for vulcanization consisting of a mixed rubber composition of an organic rubber and a polyorganosiloxane containing a specified silicone-modified organic rubber as a solubilizer. CONSTITUTION:A rubber composition for forming a bradder for vulcanization comprises an organic rubber (A), a polyorganosiloxane (B) and a silicone- modified organic rubber (C) prepared by modifying an organic rubber with a silicone compound containing Si-H groups in its molecule. A material to be molded is put in a molding machine whose inside is being covered with a bradder for vulcanization formed by curing and molding other additives with a vulcanizing agent, and heated under pressure. The bradder for vulcanization thus prepared has excellent mold releasing property, and also exhibits good physical properties such as mechanical property, heat resistance, hot water resistance and durability. It is also possible to obtain excellent stability, because the silicone-modified organic rubber exhibits strong compatibility with both the organic rubber and the silicone rubber and acts as a so-called compatibilizer.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To manufacture the title molded product efficiently at favorable mold release characteristics by preventing contamination of a mold, by performing molding by making use of the mold to the surface of which surface treatment has been applied with a surface treatment agent containing organopolysiloxane having specific molecular structure. CONSTITUTION:Organopolysiloxane composed of a 1-55 mol% R 2SiO unit, 0-30 mol% SiO unit and 50-99 mol% R SiO 1.5 unit possesses a mean degree of polymerization between meshes of the R 2 SiO of 2000 or more. The organopolysiloxane composed of the 10-30 mol% R 2 SiO unit, 0-15 mol% SiO2 unit and 60-90 mol% R SiO 1.5 unit possess mean degree of intermesh polymerization of the R 2 SiO unit of less than 2000. The organopolysiloxane composed of the 35-55 mol% R 2 SiO unit, 2-20 mol% SiO2 unit and 45-65 mol% R SiO1.5 unit possesses mean degree of intermesh polymerization of the R 2 SiO unit of less than 2000. Surface treatment is applied to a mold by making use of a surface treatment agent containing those organopolysiloxane.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent defective molding from generating by a method wherein the surface of a curing bladder is treated with silicone composition containing (A) specified polyorganosiloxane, (B) a specified compound containing at least one Si-H group in molecule, (C) fine silica particle and, when necessary, (D) organic acid salt of specified metals. CONSTITUTION:In order to mold-cure a rubber product is used a curing bladder, the surface of which is treated with silicone composition containing (A) 100pts. wt. of polyorganosiloxane having the viscosity at 25 deg.C of 3,000-5,000,000 centi- stokes, (B) 30-300pts.wt. of a compound having the viscosity at 25 deg.C of 10-70 centi-stokes and containing at least one Si-H group, (C) 2-25pts.wt. of fine silica particles and (D) 0-30pts.wt. of organic acid salt of one or more metals selected from the group consisting of zinc, magnesium, manganese and cobalt. In addition, the gradient (D) is not always necessary and can be eliminated from the formulation as the case may be. The resultant formed silicone surface coat is excellent in releasability and at the same time in mechanical strength, heat resistance, resistance to hot water, durability and the like.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve mold releasability of a rubber or plastic molded product as contamination of a mold is prevented as much as possible and the number of washing times of the mold can be reduced, by performing molding by making use of the mold surface-treated with a surface treatment agent containing a denatured silicone compound and an organic isocyanate compound having specific molecular structure. CONSTITUTION:A mold a part of the inner surface of which is surface-treated with a surface treatment agent composed of a denatured silicone compound and organic isocyanate compound shown by an expression (1) by containing them is used as the mold, in a method of manufacturing a rubber or plastic molded product by supply in a rubber or plastic molding material into the mold. In the expression, it shown that both l and m are integral numbers; X is a monovalent organic radical possessing active hydrogen and R , R , R are the same or different kind replacement or nonreplacement of a monovalent hydrocarbon respectively. When the mold is surface- treated by making use of the surface treatment agent, a surface treatment film is formed firmly on the surface of the mold. The surface of the mold is inactive from a chemical point of view and a washing term of the mold can be extended remarkably by preventing the contamination effectively.

CONSTITUTION: At least two copolymers differing in styrene content by at least 8% are selected from high-styrene content styrene/butadiene copolymers of a combined styrene content of 45W75wt% and mixed with each other to form a rubber mixture of an average styrene content of 48W68wt%. 100pts.wt. rubber mixture of at least 40wt% above rubber mixture and 40wt% or below general-purpose rubber is mixed with 10W250pts.wt. filler (e.g., calcium carbonate), 0W60pts.wt. plasticizer (e.g., aromatic oil or tricresyl phosphate), and a vulcanizing agent, a vulcanization accelerator, etc., and the resulting mixture is cured by heating to obtain an elastic rubber of a resiliency of 0W30%.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent damage to both road face and tip by disposing the tip retractable in the axial direction of a shunk and fill the shunk with water tightly to liquid in position adjacent to the tip, thereby having the tip projectable when the road face is frozen only. CONSTITUTION:A tip 3 which is provided at the end of a shunk 1 is disposed retractably in the axial direction of the shunk 1. The retractable action is restricted by the abutment of the flange 4 formed at the rear end of the tip 3 with respect to the front and the rear face 5a and 5b of a large diameter hole 5 made in the end part of the shunk 1. A liquid chamber 8 which extends in the axial direction of the shunk and is communicated with the large diameter hole 5 via the abutment stage 7 is formed inside the shunk 1, and is filled tightly to liquid with water 9. In such spike, when temperature of the water 9 is over the melting point thereof, damage to the road face by the effect of the tip 3 can be prevented effectively while when the road face is frozen, the water 9 is turned into ice so that the tip projects by the demanded length from the end of the shunk 1.
