Abstract:
The invention relates to a surface coated aluminium material comprising a base aluminium or aluminium alloy material having at least one surface part thereof and a first layer consisting of oxides of the base material and a second layer consisting essentially of indium, tin and/or gallium, and a method for preparing the material. The object of the invention is to provide an aluminium material having good wear resistance and low friction during the lifetime of the product made thereof.
Abstract:
A sampling means of a chemical analysis apparatus includes a membrane, which is attached to a membrane carrier, which has an inlet passage to the side of the carrier facing the membrane and a discharge passage going therefrom. The passages conduct the medium to be measured and which medium absorbs ions, molecules or particles which pierce the membrane. In order to provide a sampling means, which has a short reaction time and makes use of small amounts of the medium to be measured and is easy to manufacture, the mouths of the inlet passage and of the discharge passage, which opens to the membrane, are interconnected by means of at least one groove, which is open towards the membrane. The groove is formed in a surface layer, which is attached between the membrane and the membrane carrier or is manufactured on the surface of the membrane carrier. The open side of the groove is closed by the membrane by that the membrane adheres to the surface layer or to the surface of the carrier facing the membrane.
Abstract:
A piston/slide shoe arrangement (1) of a hydraulic piston machine is disclosed, having a slide shoe (6), which is in articulated connection with a piston (4), with a friction-reducing plastics material (11) therebetween, wherein the plastics material, forming a channel (13), extends into a through-opening (12) in the slide shoe in a direction towards a sliding contact surface (7) of the slide shoe, which surface in operation lies against a swash plate (8). In such an arrangement, it is desirable when operating under adverse conditions to prevent the plastics material working its way out from the space between the piston and the slide shoe. For that purpose, the slide shoe (6) and the plastics material (11) are provided outside the through-opening (12) with at least one connecting element (16, 18) which takes up shear forces between slide shoe (6) and plastics material (11).
Abstract:
A refrigeration system (1) having at least one defrostable cold-production device (5) is disclosed, beneath which device a drip tray (6) provided with a drain channel (7) is arranged. In such a refrigeration system, it is desirable to reduce the risk of flooding because of a blocked drain channel (7). For that purpose, a liquid sensor (8) which detects the presence of liquid at a level above the drain channel (7) is provided in the drip tray (6).
Abstract:
An analysis method and an analysis apparatus are disclosed, in which several fluid samples are passed in succession through a reaction channel (16) to a detector (17), and at least one reagent is introduced into the reaction channel (16) for reaction with the samples. It is intended thereby to be able to reduce the consumption of chemicals. For that purpose, successive samples are introduced adjoining one another into the reaction channel (16).
Abstract:
A thermostat top part for radiator valves can be used for at least two types of valve housing by means of an adapter (K). For that purpose it has a fixing means (15) for mounting it directly on at least two different types of valve housing (1). The adapter (K) is formed by two stem parts (12, 13) which are displaceable relative to one another and as a result alter the effective length of the valve stem (11). In this manner the adapter (K) can be housed completely within the top part (2).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and a flowmeter for measuring the mass flow rate of a medium. By generating an oscillating volume flow between spatially separated points in the flow of medium, and measuring a resulting pressure difference, the mass flow rate through the tube can be established. Hereby a measurement of flow can be made with minimal flow restriction and with simple means independently of the design of the tube.
Abstract:
In a valve, in particular an expansion valve for refrigerating systems, at least the housing (2) and all connecting pieces (3, 4, 5) are deep-drawn parts made of stainless steel with less than 0.006 % C, preferably less than 0.05 % C. These pieces are joined by welding. The steel is so low in carbon that despite the heat treatment in welding it is practically insensitive to intercrystalline corrosion. This yields a valve that is environmentally acceptable and visually attractive.
Abstract:
An electromagnetic sensor (1) serves to detect measurement values produced on the basis of a magnetic anisotropy in the measurement region. A core (2) carries an excitation winding (8), the central plane of which coincides with a plane of symmetry of the core (2). It divides the base (3) into two halves. A detector winding (12) crosses the excitation winding (8) in such a way that the magnetic flux leaves the detector windings (12) unaffected when there is magnetic isotropy in the measurement region, but when there is magnetic anisotropy it passes through to a part of the detector winding. A compact, accurately measuring sensor is obtained in this manner.
Abstract:
A hydraulic machine is disclosed, with a gearwheel, which has a midpoint (6) and a predetermined number of external teeth, and an annular gear, which has a midpoint (7) offset by an eccentricity (E) with respect to the midpoint (6) of the gearwheel and a number of internal teeth which exceeds by one the number of external teeth, the gearwheel and annular gear orbiting and/or rotating relative to one another and at least the form of the external teeth being created using a set of circles (30, 30'; 35, 35') lying with their midpoints (P1-P6; P1'-P6') on a trochoid (36, 37). It is desirable for the efficiency, service life and noise properties of such a machine to be improved. To that end, at least two trochoids (36, 37), displaced relative to one another in the circumferential direction, are provided for generating a tooth profile, the rolling circles (28, 33) of which and the base circles (27, 32) of which differ from one another.
