Additional therapeutic steam and dry air can be provided as desired. A method of treatment disclosed includes chromatherapy using coordinated colors (106, 107, 108, 202, 204, 206, 208, 210, 212, 214) and aroma (112B, 114B, 116B) and if desired requested colors for therapy of different portions of the body of a user.
Abstract:
A device for well-being and body care is described, comprising means adapted to drip a fluid onto the body of a person to be treated and means per collecting the fluid dripping from the body of the person, wherein such means, adapted to drip the fluid onto the body of the person to be treated, comprise a tank (2) connected, through a first duct (3), to a pump (4), the pump (4) being then connected, through a second duct (5), to percolating means (9, 14) adapted to delicately flow the fluid onto the body of the person to be treated.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a massage or care table (1), consisting of an base (2) for receiving a set of movable elements (3), characterized in that the movable elements (3) include a plurality of height-adjustable rollers on which a person can rest in a recumbent and/or seated position, while a connecting band, for providing ventral and dorsal protection to the patient, and/or shells for providing lateral protection to the patient, is/are attached in the space located between two adjacent rollers. The invention can be used for massages and other body treatments.
Abstract:
A wall integrable multisensory therapy device for securement in a wall of a room dedicated for physiological therapeutic treatment is described. The device has a convection conduit with a bottom air intake and a top air outlet. A blower is secured between the inlet port and outlet port to heat air convected therethrough. Associated with the convection conduit is a front panel incorporating therein audio speakers and two different light sources, one being a white light source and the other being a colored light source. The white light source provides a luminotherapeutic sensation and the colored light source provides a chromotherapeutic sensation. The heated air provides a thermotherapeutic sensation. An aromatic liquid dispenser is also associated with the front panel provides an aromatherapeutic sensation. An audio transmitter equipped with speakers provides for a relaxing sensation of hearing to a user person. A control module is associated with a data processor which is programmed to generate combinations of these treatments some being adjustable in intensity levels and all having time adjustment capabilities, as programmed for selection by the user person.
Abstract:
A micro bubble generating system includes a shell (200) having a well for retaining a first liquid to immerse an object. A micro bubble apparatus (124) is provided to the shell for providing a pressurized mixture of a second liquid and a dissolved gas into the well so as to create a plurality of micro bubbles within the first liquid for engaging the object. One method of using micro bubbles includes providing a fluid mixture, including a saturated gas, to a fluid chamber connected a fitting; and producing a plurality of micro bubbles into a fluid. Another method of using micro bubbles includes providing a fluid mixture, including a saturated gas, into an air entrapment chamber; and producing a plurality of micro bubbles into a fluid.
Abstract:
The apparatus is arranged to supply a flow of substantially pure oxygen to a person, and comprises a source of substantially pure oxygen gas, means for release of the substantially pure oxygen gas from the source into an ambient atmosphere; and means for cooling the substantially pure oxygen gas released from the source to a temperature below that of the ambient atmosphere. The substantially pure oxygen gas when cooled by the cooling means can be allowed to sink under ambient pressure by convection into a zone including the ambient atmosphere, the zone being beneath, and in convective communication with, the cooled substantially pure oxygen gas, whereby the cooled and sunken substantially pure oxygen gas can come into contact with the skin of a person in that zone. At least one parameter (such as temperature, oxygen concentration, sound or vibration) is monitored in the zone and operation of the release means is only permitted when the parameter is in a predetermined range.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Disclosed is a cushion for relieving fatigue and reforming a sleeping position. The cushion includes a cylindrical sponge, and first, second and third driving motors placed in the sponge to apply vibrations to a user. A controller controls the first, second and third driving motors to generate the vibrations. The cushion also has a cylindrical plastic frame having open ends so that one end of the sponge is fixed in the frame, and an inner cover covers the sponge and first and second molded bodies of the frame. A vessel receiving a battery is inserted into an end of the frame, and a cap covers an opening of the vessel and is equipped with an input unit and a display unit of the controller. An aromatic case is mounted to the cap and has an aromatic material therein for releasing the aroma, and an outer cover covers the inner cover and the frame. A warming or cooling sheet, having pockets sewn on an internal surface thereof to accommodate hot or cold packs, is detachably mounted to an external surface of the outer cover for emitting warmth or coolness. The user lies on his or her side while wrapping the arms and legs around the cushion or holds the legs on the cushion, whereby the spine of the user becomes straight and blood circulation is improved, thus reforming the sleeping position and recovering from fatigue.
