Abstract:
Apparatus for moving receptacles (11) comprising: - a feed unit (13) configured to feed the receptacles (11) each lying with a respective bottom (18) on a feed plane (II) and in a direction of feed (Y), - a movement device (14) configured to move the receptacles (11) from the feed unit (13) to a work unit (16) adjacent to the feed unit (13) in the direction of feed (Y). The movement device (14) comprises mobile lifting elements (20) defining a movement plane (II´) provided to rest against the bottom (18) of one of the receptacles (11), in order to pick up the receptacle (11) from the feed unit (13) by lifting it from below and moving it from the feed plane (II) into the work unit (16).
Abstract:
A water bottle delivery, storage, and retrieval system is provided which comprises an enclosed structure having an upper shelf and a lower shelf having opposing inclines. The structure may also have access doors positioned to allow storage and retrieval of the full and empty water bottles. Bottles filled with water may be loaded onto the bottom shelf. The shelf is inclined so the bottles can roll along the plastic ribs of the bottles guided by rails which are attached to the upper surface of the bottom shelf. The rails are attached to the shelf so that they are positioned between the ribs of the bottles. The empty bottles may also be stored in the dispenser on the upper shelf. The upper shelf may be inclined in a direction opposite to the incline of the lower shelf. The upper shelf may also have rails to guide the empty bottles as they roll along the shelf. Other embodiments of the invention may be freestanding systems with or without enclosures.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for transporting containers, which device has a turntable having format parts (1, 2) which are disposed one above the other and have on their respective external circumference a plurality of star wheel pockets (4) for receiving a respective container, at least one of the format parts (1, 2) being rotatable in the circumferential direction relative to at least one other, such that an amount of opening of the star wheel pockets (4) can be adjusted. According to the invention, in each case two format parts (1, 2) disposed one above the other each have at least one control element (5, 6), wherein the control elements (5, 6) of format parts (1, 2) disposed directly one above the other have a different orientation, wherein an adjusting element (7) is provided which engages both in the control element (5) of one format part (1) and in the control element (6) of the other format part (2). The adjusting element (7) can be driven by means of an adjusting element (12) in the radial direction.
Abstract:
A storage assembly for bottles has at least one vertical sub-assembly. The vertical sub-assembly comprises a plurality of storage units being vertically stacked upon each other in an orientation that provides mirror symmetry and adjacent sub-assemblies overlap in a vertical direction when a lower unit of one sub-assembly is inversely oriented in relation to the lower unit of the other sub-assembly.
Abstract:
A dispenser for items of merchandise is formed as a wire rack having an entrance opening for placing the items into the dispenser and a discharge opening for removal of the items from the dispenser by a customer. A pivotally moveable gate located adjacent the discharge opening permits removal of the items one at a time, with a time delay being required between the removal of each of the items to retard shoplifting. The gate also produces an audible sound when moving toward the open position to further reduce possible shoplifting.
Abstract:
A transportation system for stacking/carrying of containers including a panel, which has a stacking unit positioned on the panel and including a first body in which the containers are stacked; a transport element for transferring the container onto the panel by means of a first displacing member and including a base on which the container is placed; a second displacing member for transferring the container positioned on the base into the first body; a gripping arm that holds the transferred container; a third displacing member that moves the gripping arm; and a locking arm which has a flexible member that holds the container; a transport unit positioned on the panel; a displacing mechanism; a transport arm which is associated with the movable plate and which lifts the containers; and a support shaft having a fixing arm.
Abstract:
A system for treating infectious medical waste is provided that includes a collection infrastructure, handling, and a shredding sub-system for feeding partially processed waste to an oxidizer to eliminate potential airborne infectious waste prior to transforming the medical waste into useful co-products. Waste generators of potentially infectious medical waste include, but is not limited to hospitals, medical offices, dental offices, clinics, laboratories, research facilities, veterinarian offices, and emergency medical service providers. The medical waste is collected from the waste generators, transported to a processing site in sealed containers, and transformed into value-added products including hydrocarbon based gases, hydrocarbon-based liquids, and carbonized material in a system proceeded by a negative pressure region and having as a transformative element an anaerobic carbonizer.
