The present invention relates to building panels 1,1' provided with a mechanical locking system including a tongue 30, at an edge of a first panel 1, cooperating with a tongue groove 20, at an edge of an adjacent second panel 1', for vertical locking of the building panels. The edge of the first panel is provided with a displacement groove 60, which is downwardly open, and includes an inner wall 61, an outer wall 62, and an upper wall 67. The tongue 30 is formed out of the edge of the first panel. A resilient and displaceable and part 66 of the tongue 30 is displaceable into the displacement groove 60.

A flexible, preferably polymer-based, rectangular floor covering element of double-angling type has six sides: a decorative top face and a bottom face, as well as four edges. The first long edge has a first connection profile with a recess at the bottom face and a tongue overhanging the recess. The second long edge opposite the first long edge has a second connection profile with a protrusion at the bottom face and a groove for receiving the tongue of the first profile. The first short edge is equipped with the first profile and the second short edge is equipped with the second profile. When looking at the floor covering element from above the top face, the edges of the floor covering element are arranged in the following order in the clockwise direction: 1) the first long edge, 2) the first short edge, 3) the second long edge and 4) the second short edge.

The invention relates to a panel, in particular a floor panel having first and second complementary locking mechanisms on opposite pairs of edges for interconnecting similar panels for forming a covering by angling the panels along one edge and vertically locking them along a second edge. The invention also relates to a covering consisting of mutually connected floor panels according to the invention. The invention further relates to a method of assembling multiple floor panels for forming a covering.

An object of the invention is an coating assemblage, which comprises a coating (3) that is arranged above a supporting structure (1) and selectively an intermediate layer (2), which is arranged above the supporting structure and under the coating. According to the invention, for receiving a heating means there is formed heat transfer channels (4"') at least to the bottom surface of the coating by means of grooves (48), a form of the cross section profile of which heating means corresponds at least part of the form of the outer circumference defining - the channel.
