Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photometer capable of preventing erosion of a component caused by ozone gas originated in an ultraviolet light source, and reducing running cost. SOLUTION: In this spectrophotometer 10 having the ultraviolet light source 21 and a photodetector 52, and equipped with a cover 11 for sealing the whole optical path from the light source 21 to the photodetector 52 and a means for replacing the inside of the cover 11 with gaseous nitrogen, a window plate unit 80 is provided, easily mountable on/dismountable from a bulkhead 22 between a light source chamber 20 for storing the light source 21 and a subsequent spectroscope 30, and capable of shielding passage of gas between the light source chamber 20 and the spectroscope 30, while allowing passage of measuring light. When performing measurement in a wavelength region other than a deep ultraviolet region, ozone generated near the light source 21 is prevented from flowing into the spectroscope 30 by mounting the window plate unit 80 on the bulkhead 22, and erosion of the component can be prevented without replacement by gaseous nitrogen. Abstract:
A laser-radiation detector is formed from a plurality of layers supported on a substrate. The plurality of layers includes a reflective metal layer and an oriented polycrystalline sensor-layer positioned between the metal layer and the substrate.
Abstract:
A calibration system is provided including an aperture layer, a lens layer, an optical filter, a pixel layer and a regulator. The aperture layer defines a calibration aperture. The lens layer includes a calibration lens substantially axially aligned with the calibration aperture. The optical filter is adjacent the lens layer opposite the aperture layer. The pixel layer is adjacent the optical filter opposite the lens layer and includes a calibration pixel substantially axially aligned with the calibration lens. The calibration pixel detects light power of an illumination source that outputs a band of wavelengths of light as a function of a parameter. The regulator modifies the parameter of the illumination source based on a light power detected by the calibration pixel.
