PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual interface system to an interactive voice response (IVR) system to allow an interaction between a user and an IVR system to be visually monitored. SOLUTION: A visual representation of an audio communication with an agent is generated based on the IVR script. The commands in the IVR scripts can be mapped to a visual representation. One or more fields in the visual representation can be encapsulated with utterances of the caller. The agent can optionally review or update a field in the visual representation that has been encapsulated with an utterance. An agent can optionally alter a flow of the IVR script or intervene in the audio communication. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
Abstract:
Methods and systems for enabling a user to create a user-defined map of an Internet document to control how text and links of the Internet document are presented to the user. A user selects and names regions of text or links of an Internet document to create a user-defined map. A user accesses a voice browser which provides an audio representation of the Internet document based on the user-defined map. Prompts assist a user in creating and navigating through the user-defined map. User requests cause an audio representation of the text or links associated with the user-defined map to be played to the user. When selected content associated with the user-defined map is modified then the updated content is provided to the user.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the graphic user interface setting method of the menu screen of a terminal, which corresponds to the taste or the use purpose of an individual user, and to provide a setting system, a terminal performing setting and a program. SOLUTION: A menu screen supply server 20 stores a file constituting the graphic user interface of the menu screen (screen appearing at first when power is turned on) of a portable telephone set in storage parts 22 and 23. The portable telephone set 31 down-loads the file constituting the menu screen from the menu screen supply server 20 and sets the menu screen which is down-loaded instead of a menu screen which is previously set in the portable telephone set 31. The display of advertisement and a shortcut to a company site can be given to the menu screen which is to be set. An additional function can be set to the menu screen by designation from the portable telephone set 31 by the user. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
