Es wird eine Vorrichtung zum Auslesen von wenigstens einer insbesondere flexiblen Speicherfolie beschrieben. Die Auslesevorrichtung umfasst eine Leseeinrichtung zum Auslesen von auf der Speicherfolie gespeicherten Informationen, einer Transporteinrichtung mit wenigstens einem Antriebsmittel zum Transportieren der Speicherfolie relativ zur Leseeinrichtung entlang eines Führungsmittel auf einem Transportweg. Der Transportweg ist in seiner Form an die Form eines Lesebereichs der Leseeinrichtung angepaßt. Es ist wenigstens ein im Wesentlichen fester Träger (1) für die Speicherfolie vorgesehen. Die Form und die Abmessungen des Trägers (1) sind an die Form des Transportweges angepaßt. Beim Transport der Speicherfolie mit dem Träger (1) kommt die Speicherfolie nicht mit dem Antriebsmittel in Kontakt. Außerdem wird der Träger (1) für die Speicherfolie beschrieben.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus are described for retrieving information from a storage medium (102). A first portion of the surface of the storage medium is exposed to stimulating light (108) which diffuses in the storage medium under a second portion of the surface adjacent the first portion. The second portion of the surface is shielded from exposure to the stimulating light. Stimulated light corresponding to the information is received with at least one detector (114) positioned to receive the stimulated light via the second portion of the surface of the storage medium. The stimulated light is released from the storage medium in response to the stimulating light diffused under the second portion of the surface.

In an image reading apparatus using a solid state image pickup element, a smear amount and the total received light amount at whole image taking region of the CCD linear sensor when a light source is turned on without film, are measured and calculated. Using a ratio of the total received light amount when a light source is turned on without film to the one at the time of image reading, a smear correction data of each line is calculated for correction processing.

A radiation image capturing system includes at least one image capturing apparatus (20A) including a radiation detector, at least one image capturing apparatus (20B) including a stimulable phosphor panel (P) for generating radiation image information, which is readable by an image reading apparatus (22A), and at least one control device (16A) for controlling at least the image capturing apparatus (20A,20B) and the image reading apparatus (22A) based on image capturing instruction information supplied from an external source. The control device (16A) includes a change setting unit for changing settings of the image capturing instruction information depending on whether the image capturing apparatus (20A,20B) and the image reading apparatus (22A) are usable or not, and a controller for controlling the image capturing apparatus (20A,20B) and the image reading apparatus (22A) based on the changed settings of the image capturing instruction information.

A medical data authentification system comprising: a medical data acquisition apparatus for acquiring digital medical data of a patient at a patient station; an unalterable, factory pre-set, authentification device for providing unalterable time and date data simultaneously with the acquisition of the digital medical data; an encryptor for encrypting the unalterable time and date data and for associating the encrypted data with the digital medical data; and an interface for sending the digital medical data and the associated encrypted data over a communication channel.
