Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability by preventing wear when a cartridge is attached to or detached from a coating apparatus or a coating material packing means. SOLUTION: An installation member 42 and a holding member 46 are made separate parts and a positioning apparatus 49 for attracting both members in the positioning state of the holding member installation body 44 of the installation member 42 and the contact member 47 of the holding member 46 is installed between them, and an air supply path 52 for parting the holding member installation body 44 and the contact member 47 against the positioning apparatus 49 is formed in the holding member installation body 44. Accordingly, the holding member 46 can be moved freely by parting the holding member installation body 44 and the contact member 47 by compressed air from the air supply path 52. Consequently, for example, when a cartridge 21 is attached to a coating material packing apparatus 33, positioning shift of the cartridge holding apparatus 41 is allowed to prevent a feed tube 23, a feed tube insertion hole 36 and the like from wearing. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate seal performance of gland packing even in the middle of the operation of a control valve by detecting an axial load or the like acting on a valve shaft. SOLUTION: The gland packing 23 to seal between a lid part 5A of a support frame 5 and the valve shaft 22 is constituted by using, for example, nine packing materials 23a-23i. A packing fastener 24, which adjusts axial fastening force to the packing materials 23a-23i, is provided on the lid part 5A. Also, a load (a sliding resistance value F of the gland packing 23) to be applied to the valve shaft 22 is detected by an axial force sensor. And, the side pressures Pra-Pri (fastening allowance to the valve shaft 22) of the packing materials 23a-23i are obtained by individually calculating them by using the sliding resistance value F in a load-free state acting between the gland packing 23 and the valve shaft 22. Accordingly, each seal performance is discriminated from the side pressures Pra-Pri. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a gas, supplied to a gap between a radial bearing as a gas bearing and a rotary shaft, from being discharged to a tip of the rotary shaft.SOLUTION: A gas bearing spindle 1 includes: a rotary shaft 11; a first radial bearing 30 which supports the rotary shaft 11; a second radial/thrust bearing 40 which supports the rotary shaft 11 and is different in position in a longer direction (A-A direction) of the rotary shaft 11 from the first radial bearing 30; and a housing 20 which holds the first radial bearing 30 and second radial/thrust bearing 40. Further, the housing 20 is provided with an inter-radial bearing gas discharge path 23 which discharges a gas, present among the first radial bearing 30, second radial/thrust bearing 40, and rotary shaft 11, from between the first radial bearing 30 and second radial/thrust bearing 40.
