Abstract:
The present invention concerns a radiographic product which makes it possible to obtain an image with no residual yellow colouring. The radiographic product comprises at least one photosensitive silver halide tabular grain emulsion spectrally sensitised with a spectral sensitising dye in the blue region having an emission peak between 400 and 500 nm, and an optical brightener derived from 4,4'-diaminostilbene disulphonic acid having at least three anionic sulpho groups, put in the photosensitive layer of the radiographic product or in at least one layer situated between the photosensitive layer and the support. Application to radiographic systems comprising an intensifying screen.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a machine tool support. The support according to the present invention comprises a fixed frame (10), suction means, a source of compressed air, a bearing structure (13) comprising a plate (11) provided with holes (14) and means (12) intended to absorb the vibration generated by the operation of the machine and/or by its environment. According to the present invention the said holes (14) can communicate selectively with the suction means or the source of compressed air. In addition, the machine rests directly on the surface of the said plate (11), a means (12) suitable for absorbing the vibration being disposed between the frame and the bearing structure. Application to the support of machine tools.
Abstract:
An electrolyzer outfit for percolation-treating a solution for a chemical reaction, such as the cathodic reduction of a metal cation, is described. This outfit includes, for example, a cathodically polarized particle bed (31), a plurality of anodically polarized counter-electrodes (33) arranged around the edge of the particle bed, and an additional anodically polarized counter-electrode (38) placed in the middle of said bed. This arrangement allows the electrode potential within the bed to be altered in order to prevent parasitic chemical reactions.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the conditioning of very long photosensitive webs. The magazine includes a base (10) appropriate to the handling by means of a lift truck, a lighttight case (20) formed of two parts (210, 211) each exhibiting a lip (220, 221) defining slots allowing to extract the photosensitive material. According to the invention, the core axis is maintained substantially horizontally by means of series of support-rollers (30) arranged under the rolls of photosensitive material. Application to the photographic paper supply.
Abstract:
The present invention concerns a photographic material comprising, in addition to the conventional light-sensitive silver halide layers, a protective top layer. According to the invention, the protective layer comprises, in combination, a surface-active fluorinated polyether and a vinyl polymer. This protective top layer enables the appearance of marks during photographic processing to be prevented without modifying the sensitometric results.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for the continuous preparation of vanadium pentoxide gel and an apparatus for implementing the method. According to the present invention, the vanadium pentoxide is raised to a temperature at least 100 °C higher than its melting point; it is poured continuously into a quenching reactor (2) containing distilled water at ambient temperature; the gel obtained flows by overflowing to an ageing reactor (4), the contents of which are recirculated to the quenching reactor; the concentration of the gel contained in the ageing reactor (4) is measured continuously so as to adjust continuously the quantity of distilled water to be added to the quenching reactor (2); the contents of the ageing reactor are evacuated into a storage drum (9). Application to the manufacture of vanadium pentoxide for anti-static applications.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for preparing indium alkoxides soluble in organic solvents. The preparation method consists in reacting an indium halide with a C3-C20 alcohol in the presence of a base having a pka > 10 and a low nucleophilicity, in anhydrous medium, under inert gas and in the presence of polar organic solvents. The invention allows to obtain with a high yield pure indium alkoxides.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to polymethine spectral sensitising dyes comprising at least one intracyclic thioether function macrocycle. These special sensitising dyes may be used in silver halide photographic products. These spectral sensitising dyes improve the sensitivity of the photographic products whilst reducing the residual dye stain.
Abstract:
The present invention concerns a silver halide photographic emulsion. This emulsion comprises grains with faces (100) in which cavities are formed. Application to the improvement of the sensitivity of the photographic emulsion.
