Abstract:
The invention relates to a single contact spring, especially for the RF screening of electronic devices for engagement in sheet-metal apertures. So far such springs have been engaged in sheet-metal apertures of various sections by complicated sequences of movements in such a way that ejection through mechanical stresses have been permanently prevented by positive engagement. Here it is often difficult to locate them in the assembly holes. To eliminate this drawback, in a first embodiment of the invention the single contact spring consists of an engagement cage (14) and a sprung contact component (2) in the form of a contact cup (6). The engagement cage (1) is trough-shaped and its lower part is trapezoidal in cross-section, open at both frontal sides and has two opposite recesses (16) in the two long sides. The upper edge of the long side is angled outwards and the contact cup (6) is held via an angled, sprung bearer component (14) secured to the frontal sides. The advantage of this spring is that it can be fitted in one direction and compressed from the sides. The contact cup can also be roof-shaped in a further embodiment.
Abstract:
When a program is loaded, its program code is used according to an algorithm (ALG) to generate a check number (PZ). This check number (PZ) is then compared to a reference check number (VPZ) in a program protection unit. When the result of the comparison is positive, the program protection unit is released and can thus perform the functions essential for program execution.
Abstract:
In order to drive a MOS field effect transistor as a voltage cutter in a direct voltage converter which works according to the chopping principle, a circuit arrangement has an input transistor (T1) for driving a current source at the input side with a low voltage swing, a phase inverter transistor (T2) connected downstream thereof and a complementary stage formed of first and second supplementary transistors (T3, T4) with interconnected collectors. An auxiliary voltage is added to the input voltage to be regulated. Thanks to different current switching thresholds for the first supplementary transistor (T3) and for the phase inverter transistor (T2) that drives the second supplementary transistor (T4), the complementary stage switches without overlapping. In addition, it switches with a switching-on delay, so that the switching time of a series-connected switching regulator component can be increased up to 100 %. The own current requirements of the circuitry are thus very low.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a process for testing terminal resistances in signalling lines between emitters and receivers in ECL networks. The absence of such terminal resistances due to manufacturing faults results in deterioration in the dynamic characteristics of the circuit. Diagnostic of this type of failure is technically difficult and costly. The invention proposes a simple testing procedure based on the use of the boundary-scan cells in the components. This is done by setting all the signalling lines (S) in the network under test to logical 'zero' and increasing the terminal voltages of the terminal resistances (RL) until logical '1' appears in the boundary-scan input cells (SRE) when the external test mode of the boundary-scan test procedure is applied and the terminal resistances (RL) are present, i.e. intact, and the voltages in the terminal resistances (R) in the boundary-scan lines are independent of the terminal voltages (VEE1) in the networks under test. Costly test systems can thereby be avoided and the absence or failure of the terminal resistances can be easily detected.
Abstract:
An automatic scanning device has two conveyor belts and a light grating with a horizontal light beam as control member. Such devices have the disadvantage that when one of the beams is interrupted, further articles may be laid on the belt without any possibility of registering it. To avoid this disadvantage, each light beam is individually evaluated and in addition light gratings with beams radiating in the vertical and horizontal directions are used.
Abstract:
The shutter device proposed comprises a sliding shutter (5) located behind the front shutter (1) covering the front of the data-processing unit except for the storage units (2), the sliding shutter having a tab (7) which projects out through a lit between the front shutter (1) and the casing (6). Located on at least one of the edges of the sliding shutter (5) parallel to the direction in which the shutter moves is a notch-like recess (10) into which the arm (9) of a rotating-arm lock (8) can be turned and locked in place.
Abstract:
A deviating device (11) for deviating a printing web between two high-speed electrographic printers (10/1, 10/2) is reversible and can be switched to a position in which it turns the printing web over (recto-verso printing) and to a position in which it deviates the printing web (colour printing). To this end, the deviating device (11), which is mounted on a mobile table (26), contains a rod arrangement in the form of a swivelling turnover triangle slidingly mounted on two guide rods (19/1, 19/2). As the deviating device is designed as a mobile, reversible unit, the printers can be arranged in a printing system with a preliminary processing and a post-processing unit, where the printers can be used both as individual items of equipement independently of each other and as a common printer for a printing web.
Abstract:
A stacking device for printers forms a stack (20/1, 20/2) of individual sheets (13). The stacking device has two individual sheet transport systems designed as roller cages (1/1, 1/2) coaxially arranged next to each other. Each roller cage (1/1, 1/2) has at its periphery roller-shaped transport elements (3) that extend in the axial direction of the roller cages (1/1, 1/2) and that are mutually separated by gaps. The roller cages surround separate individual partial deposit surfaces (7/1, 7/2) that form together a common, inner deposit surface for receiving the individual sheets (10) to be stacked and that crosses both roller cages (1/1, 1/2). By moving in opposite directions the roller cages (1/1, 1/2) centrally grip the individual sheets (10) to be stacked and transport them to a stacking position arranged above or below the roller cages (1/1, 1/2). At the same time, the transport elements (3) designed as transport rollers roll on the individual sheets (10) or on packets of individual sheets. A stacking device for individual sheets is thus obtained that allows stacks to be formed from the botton to the top or from the top to the bottom.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a printing or copying machine with an intermediate image-carrier (10) having an associated recording and developing station (EY, EM, EC, EB) for the generation of single-colour or multi-colour toner images on the intermediate image-carrier (10). The toner images are transferred electrostatically, in a transfer zone (T), on to a belt-type transfer element (16) and then, in reproduction and fixing zones (U1, U2), printed from the underneath from the transfer element onto the recording carrier (24). In order to facilitate the fixing of the image reproduced in the reproduction and fixing zones (U1, U2), heating means (23, 31) are fitted to heat the toner images on the transfer element (16) and/or to heat the recording carrier (24). Located between the first and second reproduction and fixing stations (U1, U2) is a turning station (W). The printing or copying machine can be operated in the simplex or duplex mode to produce single-colour or multi-colour prints/copies.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method and device for monitoring manipulations carried out on computers (3) connected into a net (2). The method calls for attributes of the data stored in the computers (3) to be automatically interrogated and compared with reference attributes stored under protection. In the event of non-correspondence, an alarm is triggered. Attribute interrogation, attribute comparison and triggering of the alarm are carried out by a monitoring device (1) which is connected to the computers (3) but physically inaccessible to intruders, and whose data storage containing the reference attributes cannot be interrogated.
