    Abstract: Described is an apparatus of an Evolved Node-B (eNB). The apparatus may comprise a first circuitry, a second circuitry, and a third circuitry. The first circuitry may be operable to associate a first Beam Reference Signal (BRS) for a first Transmit (Tx) beam having a first beamwidth with one or more second BRSes for one or more respectively corresponding second Tx beams having a second beamwidth. The second circuitry may be operable to generate a first BRS transmission carrying the first BRS, and to generate one or more second BRS transmissions carrying the one or more respectively corresponding second BRSes. The third circuitry may be operable to provide information regarding the first BRS and the second BRSes to the second circuitry.

    Abstract: A user equipment including a transceiver and a processor is configured to receive, from a base station and via the transceiver, a set of resource indicators identifying a set of beams and a configuration for reporting a duty cycle for transmission in an uplink direction for at least one resource indicator of the set of resource indicators. The processor is also configured to, at least one of periodically or based on an event reported by a body proximity sensor (BPS), determine the duty cycle for transmission in the uplink direction for the at least one resource indicator of the set of resource indicators; and transmit, to the base station via using the transceiver, the determined duty cycle and the corresponding at least one resource indicator of the set of resource indicators according to the received configuration for reporting the duty cycle.

The UE receives a MG configuration, wherein the MG configuration includes multiple MGs and MG conflict resolution information, determines whether a conflict exists between two or more of the MGs, selects at least one of the two or more MGs that have the conflict based on the MG conflict resolution information and performs signal measurements during the selected at least one of the two or more MGs that have the conflict.
