Abstract:
A method for imputing a voice message recording for a particular floor served by an elevator car includes the steps of sensing elevator car positions (21), sensing that a selected car operating panel button has been held down (22) and enabling a voice input process (23). A device for displaying Braille information to an elevator user includes an elongated panel (42) having a central Braille character panel (31) and two buttons (32, 33) disposed at opposite ends of the elongated panel for causing the displayed information to move backward and forward. A plurality of actuators (38), and probes (35) extruding through the Braille panel form Braille characters.
Abstract:
An elevator user creates on a user terminal an individual user program, that is adapted to his needs, for operating the elevator. The user terminal can include a keypad for selecting commands and entering values, and a screen for displaying the command sequence. Depending upon authorization, the user can access the entire command set or only certain commands. The user program is transmitted to a terminal of an elevator control by wireless communication and proceeds to a program control which adds to the user program data required for execution and stores it in a memory. A task manager of the control program initiates the execution of the user program by an interpreter that interprets the program step by step. In the case of elevator-specific instructions such as, for example, travel commands or door opening commands, the interpreter calls up an interface that initiates the further execution by an elevator control.
Abstract:
An identification system for a lift installation in which a lift user carries with him an information transmitter. The information transmitter communicates individual data, for example the weight of the lift user, to a recognition device, which files the data in a data bank. Lift users without information transmitters, so-called unauthorized travellers, are detected with the aid of a load-measuring device. A comparator compares the weight in a lift cage with the weight identified by means of the information transmitter to verify the identity of the lift user as the user to whom the information transmitter was assigned. In the case of agreement, a release signal issued to a lift control, which dispatches or otherwise permits operation of the lift cage.
Abstract:
The invention prioritizes elevator service by an electronic lock and key circuit which uses a pre-existing capacitive touch button, an electronic key for receiving a 10 KHz first button pulse train from the face of the capacitive touch button and modulating said capacitive touch button pulse train with a signal of a preset frequency. A modulated first pulse train is provided back to the capacitive touch button face and an electronic lock for modulating a demodulated first pulse train received at the capacitive touch button face so as to provide a high priority hall call or a car call.
Abstract:
An emergency control system for use in an elevator system. When an emergency situation arises in an elevator car, an elevator passenger recites a code word. A microphone in the elevator car transforms the vocal signal to an electrical signal, and using a voice-recognition system, the spoken code word is compared with a code word stored in memory. If the spoken code word matches the stored code word, control of the elevator system is switched to an emergency mode. In this mode the elevator car is brought to a predetermined landing and an intercom system providing communication between the elevator car and the guard station is activated. At the predetermined landing, security personnel are available to render assistance to the elevator passenger when the elevator doors open.
Abstract:
An elevator control system including an elevator management system obtaining meeting information from at least one of a calendar system and a user interface; the elevator management system generating a control command in response to the meeting information; and an elevator controller controlling destinations of one or more elevator cars in response to the control command.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a call input device (1, 1') with at least one touch screen (13) for entering at least one call for an elevator installation. At least one switch (3) protrudes from at least one area (1.1) of the call input device (1, 1 ') outside of the touch screen (13) in at least one first input area (13.1) of the touch screen (13).
Abstract:
A group management controller of elevators which can control a special call operation efficiently even with a double deck elevator. The group management controller (10) of elevators for controlling a plurality of double deck elevators comprises a general call input means (3), a general call assignment control means (4) for evaluating/operating the results obtained by assigning an inputted general call to the upper and lower cages of a plurality of elevators and performing control to let a cage having the best evaluation value respond to a landing floor call, a special call input means (5) consisting of special call buttons (2) which can be used only by special users, a special call response control means (6) performing control such that a special call is assigned to an elevator having any one of empty upper and lower cage which can respond to an inputted special call earliest or to a predetermined special elevator, and a general call assignment alteration means (7) for reassigning a general call already assigned to the upper and lower cages of a specific elevator newly assigned with a special call to an other elevator thus limiting a new assignment.
