Abstract:
The present invention refers to a process for preparing a compound of general formula (A), as reported in the description, wherein R is a radical of a drug and R1-R12 are hydrogen or alkyl groups, m, n, o, q, r and s are each independently an integer from 0 to 6, and p is 0 or 1, and X is O, S, SO, SO2, NR13 or PR13 or an aryl, heteroaryl group, said process comprising reacting a compound of formula (B) R—COOZ (B) wherein R is as defined above and Z is hydrogen or a cation selected from: Li+, Na+, K+, Ca++, Mg++, tetralkylammonium, tetralkylphosphonium, with a compound of formula (C), as reported in the description, wherein R1-R12 and m, n, o, p, q, r, s are as defined above and Y is a suitable leaving group.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optimal method for preparing a nitrate of a monohydric alcohol. SOLUTION: The present invention provides the method for preparing the nitrate of the monohydric alcohol. In the preparation method, the monohydric alcohol or a mixture of monohydric alcohols is converted to the ester by nitric acid under adiabatic reaction conditions in the presence of sulfuric acid. Abstract:
A process for the purification of 1,4-butanediol mononitrate from 1,4-butanediol dinitrate and 1,4-butanediol, by selective extraction with solvents is herein disclosed.
Abstract:
At the present invention relates to a new process for the preparation of the (S)-naproxen 4-nitrooxybutyl ester and to new intermediates obtained and used therein. The invention further relates to the use of the new intermediates for the manufacturing of pharmaceutically active compounds such as (S)-naproxen 4-nitrooxybutyl ester. The invention also relates to the use of (S)-naproxen 4-nitrooxybutyl ester prepared according to the process of the present invention for the manufacturing of a medicament for the treatment of pain.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and to a device for removing contaminants arising during the production of aliphatic or alicyclic nitric acid esters, in particular for removing contaminants from nitrated crude nitric acid esters, which nitrated crude nitric acid esters arise during the nitration of monovalent or multivalent aliphatic or alicyclic alcohols capable of nitration, after the separation of the final nitrating acid, and to a production system for nitrating monovalent or multivalent aliphatic alcohols capable of nitration with subsequent purification of the nitrated nitric acid esters.
Abstract:
Process for the production of a chemical compound from a carbon dioxide starting material, comprising the steps of a) providing a feed stream consisting mainly of carbon dioxide; b) electrolyzing in an electrolysis stage the carbon dioxide in the feed stream to a first gas stream containing carbon monoxide and a second gas stream containing oxygen, wherein the molar ratio between carbon monoxide and oxygen is about 1:0.5 in an electrolysis stage; c) adjusting the composition of the first gas stream or the second gas stream or both gas streams to include carbon dioxide, either by operating at less than full conversion of CO2 or by sweeping one or both gas streams with a gas containing CO2 or by at some stage between the electrolysis cell and the oxidative carbonylation reactor diluting one or both gas streams with a gas containing CO2; all while maintaining an overall molar ratio of carbon monoxide to oxygen of about 1:0.5; and d) introducing the first and second process stream into a reaction stage and reacting the first and second process stream combined or in succession with a substrate to the chemical compound by means of an oxidative carbonylation reaction with the carbon monoxide and oxygen contained in the process feed stream.
