    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multidirectional operation switch mainly for use in the operations of a variety of electronic device types, enabling easy and diverse operations.SOLUTION: The multidirectional operation switch having switches such as a push switch 3 comprises: a pressure sensor 24 disposed upward an electrode 22 provided on a wiring board 21; and a detecting pin 26 disposed on the upper surface of the pressure sensor 24. By the depression of the detecting pin 26 by an operation body 28, a contact resistance between the pressure sensor 24 and the electrode 22 is changed according to the degree of depression on the detecting pin 26. Thus, because a connected electronic device can make control reflecting the change of the contact resistance of the multidirectional operation switch, it is possible to achieve the multidirectional operation switch that enables easy and diverse operations reflecting not only a tilt direction and a tilt time but also a tilt angle of the operation body 28.
