Abstract:
An air compressor (10) includes an air pump (34) with a pump inlet (34a) for receiving air to be pressurized and a pump outlet (34b). An air tank (14) includes a tank inlet (14a) coupled with the pump outlet (34b) for receiving pressurized air from the air pump (34), and a tank outlet (14b) for directing pressurized air from a tank outlet (14b) to at least one pneumatic device (24). A brushless DC motor (36) includes a rotatable output (36a) coupled with the air pump (34) for operating the air pump (34) to pressurize air. A control (42) is electrically coupled to the brushless DC motor (36). The control (42) changes the level of electric current drawn by the brushless DC motor (36) to thereby change the rate of rotation of the rotatable output (36a) and/or the pump performance level.

An interconnection assembly for electrically connecting a vehicle device (300) to a cable or wire. The assembly comprises a device,a terminal attached to a wire and a guiding housing (700). The device internally accommodates a busbar connection (310, 320). The guiding housing (700) guides the terminal through a device opening(390), from an unmated position, in which the terminal is not connected to the busbar connection (310, 320), to a mated position, in which the terminal is electrically connected to the busbar connection (310, 320).The guiding housing (700) may be also used for interconnecting a cable or wire shielding braid (790) to an electroconductive portion of the device housing (312), and/or for accommodating sealing means between the cable or wire and the device housing.
Abstract:
An electrical power assembly comprises a motor lead with individual metal sheathed conductors, a power cable with individual metal sheathed conductors and a splice connector for connecting each of the conductors. Each splice connector has a tubular metal fastener body with an upward facing shoulder at an upper end and a downward facing shoulder at a lower end. A metal nut assembly is fixed to one of the power cable conductors with a downward facing shoulder in metal-to-metal sealing engagement with the upward facing shoulder of the fastener body. A metal coupler fixed to one of the motor lead conductors with an upward facing shoulder in metal-to-metal sealing engagement with the downward facing shoulder of the fastener body. Contacts electrically connect one of the motor lead conductors to one of the power cable conductors within the fastener body. An elastomeric seal disposed between the nut assembly and the fastener body, has expansion relief voids operable to collapse and relieve stresses exerted by the seal when the seal undergoes thermal expansion.

L'invention porte principalement sur un ensemble comportant une cage à balai et un ressort à spirales (36), -ledit ressort à spirales (36) comprenant un axe (Y), une partie enroulée (37) autour dudit axe (Y) et un bras (39) s'étendant à partir d'une extrémité de ladite partie enroulée (37), -ladite cage à balai comprenant au moins une paroi latérale munie d'une ouverture pour le passage dudit bras (39) à travers ladite paroi latérale en sorte qu'une extrémité dudit bras (39) puisse être en appui sur au moins une partie d'une face d'extrémité d'un balai, caractérisé en ce que ledit bras (39) comprend une première portion (391) dont la largeur (L5) mesurée suivant ledit axe (Y) est différente de la largeur (L6) de ladite partie enroulée (37) mesurée suivant ledit axe (Y) dudit ressort à spirales (36).
