    Abstract: Objects (M) molded of synthetic resin such as slide fastener sliders are dyed with a dye liquor having a bath ratio appropriate for an actual amount of dyestuff to be applied to the objects (M) which has been determined from the outer surface area of the objects (M) and the thickness of a dye layer to be formed thereon. The dye liquor is brought into contact with the objects (M) while the dye liquor is being supplied in circulation through a dyeing tank (11; 51) or contained together with the objects (M) in the dyeing tank (11; 51).

    Abstract: Apparatus for successively immersing articles in different baths, as in galvanoplasty or in cleaning parts by using a series of cleaning solutions. A treatment vessel is provided in which to immerse the parts first in one bath, then in another. The various baths are supplied to the treatment vessel through independent siphon conduits, each connected to one of a plurality of bath reservoirs located below the vessel so that when it is desired to empty the vessel, the bath liquid can be siphoned back to the reservoir from which it came through the same siphon conduit by which it was furnished the treatment vessel in the first place. In order to avoid the use of pumps, the baths are transferred from each of the reservoirs by individually pressurizing each reservoir, thereby forcing the bath up through its siphon conduit into the treatment vessel. By using siphons in this manner, accidental intermixing of the bath solutions is prevented.

    Abstract: Small workpieces to be coated with plastic material are preheated and dropped onto a fluidized bed of plastic powder subjected to compound vibratory motion which causes the powder and the workpieces to move along a helical ramp onto a screen overlying the point of entry, with some of the particles fusing onto the workpiece surfaces to form a film. The remainder of the powder, on reaching the screen, drops back onto the bed as the coated workpieces move on to a receptacle. Fresh workpieces are deposited on the bed through one or more chutes traversing the screen; to prevent the rise of any particles through the chutes, a downward airflow is created therein.
