Abstract:
A coil nailing device for finishing materials is invented that comprises a standby part for temporarily retaining and loading the nails into a muzzle. A door is installed adjacent to the standby part to check the nail supply. A door latch consists of a hook, coil spring and latch hinge shaft. The door and door latch are operated in the lateral direction, perpendicular to the axis of the main body. The muzzle consists of an adapter, lever arm and a pair of arc-shaped sliding grooves formed on both lateral surfaces. The adapter is attachable to the nose of the main body. A clearance setting device is designed to allow the use of various sizes of nails by setting the depth of the magazine depending on the loaded nail size. An interval setting device is convenient to nail a series of shingle panels by setting the panel interval while the coil nailing device is sliding along the edge of the panels.
Abstract:
Provided is a method of purifying a target substance using silver nanoparticles. The method includes: mixing a sample containing molecules having a thiol group with the silver nanoparticles to obtain a complex of the molecules having the thiol group with the silver nanoparticles; and isolating and removing the complex from the mixture. By using the purification method, PCR amplifiable DNAs can be rapidly purified, and thus, the method can be very efficiently applied to lab-on-chip (LOC).
Abstract:
Provided are an apparatus and a method for coding genetic information. An aligning unit aligns sample genetic information, wild-type probe genetic information, and mutant-type probe genetic information, based on a mutation position. A code storage unit stores first orthogonal codes assigned to each of bases located at left and right base regions based on the mutation position and second orthogonal codes assigned to a base located at the mutation position. A coding unit creates first code strings and second code strings. The first code strings are created by assigning the first orthogonal codes, sequentially from left to right, to the bases that make the aligned genetic information and adding a flag that represents the presence or absence of a corresponding base on the genetic information to the assigned first orthogonal codes, and the second code strings are created by assigning the second orthogonal codes to the base located at the mutation position and adding a flag that represents the type of the sample genetic information to the assigned second orthogonal codes.
Abstract:
A semiconductor device includes a plurality of fuses, and a plurality of latch circuits respectively electrically connected to the plurality of fuses. The plurality of latch circuits are configured to store respective fuse-cut information from the plurality of fuses, and to then sequentially transmit the fuse-cut information through the latch circuits to output sequential data indicative of a fuse-cut state of the plurality of fuses.
Abstract:
A portable microwave plasma discharge unit receives microwaves and a gas flow via a supply line. The portable microwave plasma discharge unit generates plasma from the gas flow and the received microwaves. The portable microwave plasma discharge unit includes a gas flow tube made of a conducting and/or dielectric material and a rod-shaped conductor that is axially disposed in the gas flow tube. The rod-shaped conductor has an end configured to contact a microwave supply conductor of the supply line to receive microwaves and a tapered tip positioned adjacent the outlet portion of the gas flow tube. The tapered tip is configured to focus the microwaves received from the microwave supply conductor to generate plasma from the gas flow.
Abstract:
A phosphor layer having improved contrast and brightness characteristics and a display device including the same are provided. The phosphor layer is made out of an ultra-fine pigment, a dispersant, a phosphor, a photosensitizer and a binder. The phosphor has a uniform distribution along the thickness of the phosphor layer, and the pigment varies in content over the thickness of the phosphor layer. A method of forming the phosphor layer is based on existing phosphor layer processes and includes a reduced number of processing steps than a filter screen method, thereby markedly lowering the manufacturing costs. The phosphor layer can be used in a cathode ray tube, a plasma display panel, a field emission display, and an organic electroluminescent device.
Abstract:
A portable Internet service system includes a plurality of terminals which transmit uplink data for performing wireless communication; and a base station which receives the uplink data from the plurality of terminals, transmits downlink data to the plurality of terminals, and establishes a peer-to-peer function to perform a peer-to-peer transmission between the plurality of terminals.
Abstract:
A semiconductor memory device, having a test mode and a normal mode, includes a frequency multiplier and a test command sequence generator. The frequency multiplier receives a test clock signal in the test mode and generates multiple internal test clock signals, each of which has a frequency equal to a frequency of an operation clock signal in the normal mode. The test clock signal has a frequency lower than the frequency of the operation clock signal. The test command sequence generator generates at least one command signal in response to the internal test clock signals in the test mode. The at least one command signal corresponds to at least one operation timing parameter of the semiconductor memory device that is to be measured. The frequency multiplier may include a Phase Locked Loop (PLL) or a Delay Locked Loop (DLL).
Abstract:
A DAA method of a UWB signal with respect to a WiMax signal, the method including: generating the UWB signal by tone mapping a predetermined data bit; and controlling a first band to shift to a second band where an interference with the WiMax signal occurs, the first band including a null tone among mapped tones of the UWB signal.
