방송 신호 송신 장치는 기본 계층 신호와 향상 계층 신호로 이루어지는 방송 신호와 이 방송 신호와 연관되는 추가 계층 신호를 방송 신호 수신 장치로 전송한다. 그러면, 방송 신호 수신 장치는 사용자의 서비스 등급에 따라서 향상 계층 신호와 추가 계층 신호를 선택적으로 사용자에게 제공한다. 이렇게 하면, 사용자의 등급에 따라 다양한 서비스를 차별적으로 사용자에게 제공할 수 있다.

A device for providing a terrestrial digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB) video service reconfigures by receiving, through an ensemble transport interface (ETI) frame, a transport stream (TS) packet including at least one video stream encoded from a video encoder and converts the reconfigured ETI frame to ETI signals to be transmitted through a broadcasting network. Furthermore, the device for providing the terrestrial DMB video service stores in a packet buffer queue the TS packet having a program clock reference (PCR) value in the reconfigured ETI frame and transmits, through a communication network, the TS packet corresponding to a stream request of a user who accesses through the communication network. PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for synchronizing a plurality of transport streams are provided to prevent overflow and underflow of transport streams in a digital broadcasting system. CONSTITUTION: A basic layer processing unit(101) generates a basic layer transport stream. An additional layer processing unit(102) generates a dummy packet which does not have effective data. CONSTITUTION: A 2D image decoding unit(150) decodes a stream for a separated 3D video service to a fixed image. An image separating unit(160) separates one screen into two screens to generate two images. A 3D image reproducing unit(190) reproduces the images. A depth information extracting unit(170) extracts depth information for a 3D video service from the images. A 3D information expressing unit(180) expresses detailed service related information, analyzed values of a 3D video service, and the extracted depth information.

PURPOSE: A user request information transmission apparatus through a private information channel in a digital broadcasting system, method, and system thereof are provided to effectively receive an information service through an information private transmission channel. CONSTITUTION: A receiver(200) receives broadcasting content. Information regardless of the desired broadcasting content is requested by the return channel of a mobile communication network(20) by using the receiver. The IP(Internet Protocol) address of a user terminal is requested. PURPOSE: A method of providing and consuming a 3D broadcasting service by using a digital multimedia broadcasting system and an apparatus thereof are provided to offer a new 3D broadcasting service which is compatible with a traditional Terrestrial-DMB. CONSTITUTION: A 3D broadcasting providing apparatus generates audio signals, 2D video signals, and a base layer stream by multiplexing data signals(904). The apparatus generates the audio signals, 3D video signals, the data signals, and an enhancement layer stream by multiplexing 3D additional data signals(906). 본 발명은, 통신 시스템에서 저밀도 패리티 검사(LDPC: Low-Density Parity Check) 부호화 방식을 이용하여 데이터를 송신하는 데이터 송신 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 전송하고자 하는 데이터에 적용되는 가변 부호화율 및 변조 차수를 기반으로 저밀도 패리티 검사 부호의 패리티 검사 행렬을 생성하고, 상기 가변 부호화율 및 변조 차수를 지원하도록 상기 생성한 패리티 검사 행렬에 천공(puncturing) 또는 확장(extending)을 고려하여 최적의 패리티 검사 행렬을 생성하고, 상기 최적의 패리티 검사 행렬을 통해 상기 전송하고자 하는 데이터의 정보 비트를 저밀도 패리티 검사 부호화하며, 상기 저밀도 패리티 검사 부호화된 정보 비트를 전송 우선 순위에 따라 분류한 후, 변조 심볼에 매핑하여 송신한다.
