    Abstract: It is provided a polymer composition including at least the following components A) 70 to 97 wt.-% based on the overall weight of the polymer composition of a polymer blend, including a1) 50 to 95 wt.-% of polypropylene; a2) 5 to 50 wt.-% of polyethylene; B) 3 to 30 wt.-% based on the overall weight of the polymer composition of a copolymer of propylene and 1-hexene, including b1) 30 to 70 wt.-% of a first random copolymer of propylene and 1-hexene; and b2) 30 to 70 wt.-% of a second random copolymer of propylene and 1-hexene having a higher 1-hexene content than the first random propylene copolymer b1); with the provisos that the weight proportions of components a1) and a2) add up to 100 wt.-%; the weight proportions of components b1) and b2) add up to 100 wt.-%; component A) has a MFR2 (230° C., 2.16 kg) determined according to ISO 1133 in the range from 1.0 to 50.0 g/10 min; component B) has a 1-hexene content in the range of 2.0 to 8.0 wt.-% based on the overall weight of component B); and the polymer composition is free from plastomers being an elastomeric copolymer of ethylene and 1-octene having a density in the range from 0.860 to 0.930 g/cm3.

    Abstract: A heterophasic polyolefin composition comprising 55 to 95 wt.-% based on the total weight of the heterophasic polyolefin composition of a propylene butene random copolymer (A) having an MFR2 (230° C.) of 0.3 to 100.0 g/10 min and a butene content of 1.5 to 8.0 wt.-%, wherein the propylene butene random copolymer is obtained by a process using a single site catalyst (I) and 5 to 45 wt.-% based on the total weight of the heterophasic polyolefin composition of a copolymer of ethylene (B) having a density in the range of 910 to 935 kg/m3 and an MFR2 (190° C.) of 0.5 to 10 g/10 min, wherein the copolymer of ethylene (B) is obtained by a process using a single site catalyst (II).

    Abstract: A heterophasic propylene ethylene copolymer having an MFR2 of 0.5 to 100 g/10 min and obtained using single site catalysis comprising: (i) at least 40 wt % of a propylene homopolymer or propylene ethylene copolymer matrix having up to 4 wt % comonomer; (ii) at least 10 wt % of an ethylene propylene rubber dispersed in the matrix, said heterophasic propylene ethylene copolymer having a xylene cold soluble content (XS) of 12 to 60%; wherein the ethylene content of the xylene cold soluble fraction of said heterophasic propylene ethylene copolymer is between 18 and 70 wt. %; and wherein the intrinsic viscosity of the XS fraction of said heterophasic propylene ethylene copolymer is greater than the intrinsic viscosity of the matrix fraction of said copolymer.

    Abstract: A propylene butylene polymer composition comprising A) a propylene butylene copolymer or a propylene butylene ethylene terpolymer which is—free of phthalic acid esters as well as decomposition products thereof; —obtained by a Ziegler-Natta catalyst and B) a mixture of at least one particulate and at least one soluble nucleating agent, whereby the propylene butylene polymer composition has—a MFR (2.16 kg/210° C.) in the range of 12 to 50 g/10 min—a tensile modulus (measured on injection moulded test specimens in accordance with ISO 527) of more than 1200 MPa—a Tm of more than 150° C.—an amount of xylene cold soluble (XCS) fraction of less than 7.0 wt.-% and whereby the propylene butylene copolymer includes monomer units derived from a) propylene in an amount of 91-96 wt.-% b) butylene in an amount of 4-9 wt.-% with respect to the total weight of the propylene butylene copolymer. or wherein the propylene butylene ethylene terpolymer includes monomer units derived from a) propylene in an amount of 90-96 wt.-% b) butylene in an amount of 4-9 wt.-% c) ethylene in an amount of not more than 1.0 wt.-% with respect to the total weight of the propylene butylene ethylene terpolymer.
