A storage unit for tubular winding cores (A) is described, comprising an entrance, an exit and an accumulation area between the entrance and the exit. In the accumulation area a feeding path is provided for the tubular winding cores (A), formed by feeding channels (33) overlapping and connected by means of descending branches of falling due to gravity from a feeding channel to the feeding channel below. The tubular winding cores gather along the feeding path, arranging themselves in contact one with the other.

There is disclosed a loading system that inserts skates (810) from a dock (800) into a trailer (100). Air sacs (1201, 1203, 120, 1206) underneath the skates are then inflated to lift a paper reel (501) off chocks (110, 120, 130). The skates are then retracted from the trailer back to the dock, thus removing the reel from the trailer and placing the reel over a conveyer (801) that forms part of the dock. The air sacs are then deflated and the weight of the reel is transferred to the conveyor. The reel is then conveyed to a printing press. In an embodiment, two adjacent reels are withdrawn from the trailer onto two adjacent conveyors. The adjacent conveyors displaced (1600, 1601) relative to the skates in order to separate the reels as they are transferred to the conveyors.

The invention relates to a device for conveying one or several rolls of material, comprising a transport system and roll logistics systems. The transport system is embodied as a driverless transport system. The inventive device allows the roll gripping mechanism to perform rotational and/or tilting movements in order to be able to modify the position of the longitudinal axis of the roll of material about three axes that extend perpendicular to one another. The roll gripping mechanism encompasses a rotating unit as well as a lilting unit that is mounted on the lifting unit of the transport system. An advancing unit is disposed between the lifting unit and the rotating unit.

The invention relates to a method for separating the web rolls (2) of a roll set (1) traveling on a conveyor (3) from each other. The conveyor (3) comprises a conveyor belt or chain (12) adapted to run about driving and tail pulleys (7). In the method, the set (1) of web rolls is transported on the leg of the conveyor belt or chain (12). According to the method, onto the top surface of the conveyor belt or chain (12) is formed an elevation capable of separating the web rolls (2) apart from each other with the help of an elevating roll assembly (5) adapted to operate below the top surface of the conveyor belt or chain (12) and comprising at least one rotary elevating roll (6).

The invention relates to an arrangement for picking and sorting products in a warehouse, which arrangement comprises a main body (400) arranged to move in at least one direction, at least a first load handling unit (401) and a second load handling unit (401), arranged adjacent to each other in the main body (400) for positioning the products (101, 102) to a storage position and removing the products from a storage position, means for producing location information of the products in the storage position, and a control unit for controlling the movements of the main body and the load handling units, based on the location information, for sorting the products to storage positions by type of products. The invention relates to a device (1) and a method for holding together and transporting a metal band rolled up into a coil (3) after rolling up the same in a coiling station (5). The device (1) comprises a removal trolley (20) for receiving the coil (3) in the coiling station (5) and for transporting the coil (3) from the coiling station (5). The device (1) further comprises a coil safety device, which is designed to place a securing sling (40) around the coil (3) fixed on at least part of the circumference, such that the coil (3) is held together by the securing sling (40) and is pressed onto the removal trolley (20).

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Transport von Materialbahnrollen (2.n, 2.n+1) über eine vordefinierte Transportstrecke (s), umfassend über die Transportstrecke (s) zueinander beabstandet angeordnete und Stoppstellen (3, 3.n. 3.n+1) ausbildende Stoppbereiche (4, 4.n, 4.n+1), an welchen die kinetische Energie der einzelnen Materialbahnrolle(2.n, 2.n+1) reduziert wird und die Materialbahnrolle (2.n, 2.n+1) durch einen Kraftstoß (FS) aus dem Stoppbereich (4.n, 4.n+1) ausgeworfen und in Transportrichtung (R) zur nächsten Stoppstelle (4.n, 4.n+1) weitertransportiert wird. Die Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Kraftstoß derart gesteuert wird, dass die Bewegung der Materialbahnrolle (2.n, 2.n+1) zwischen zwei in Transportrichtung (R) aufeinander folgenden Stoppbereichen (4.n. 4.n+1) derart erfolgt, dass die Materialbahnrolle (2.n, 2.n+1) bei Eintreten in den in Transportrichtung (R) folgenden Stoppbereich (4.n, 4.n+1) ein vordefiniertes Energieniveau aufweist.
