PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage or deformation of a container in a treatment device or the like in a downstream side of a conveying route. SOLUTION: A filling device has a filling part 1; a star wheel 2; and a timing screw 3. The container 10 is fed to the timing screw 3 along a conveying route by a conveyor 6. The container control device has a control member 11 for controlling feeding and stopping of the container 10 at this side of the timing screw 3; a driving part 13 for driving the control member 11; and a sensor 35 for detecting the state of a rotation angle or the like of the timing screw 3. When the container 10 is stopped, the driving part 13 drives the control member 11 so as to stop the container 10 in response to the detection result by the sensor 35 under the control by a controller 30. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for forming and separating the continuous batches of articles where the number of articles per batch and clearances between the batches can be controlled simply and at a high speed and the articles are prevented from dropping from the device. SOLUTION: The method of forming and separating the continuous batches 3 of the articles 2 comprising a step for transferring the articles 2 one by one to a supply station 5 along a supply conveyor 4 at a substantially constant input speed VE, and a step for grouping a given number of the articles 2 into a form of batch 3 and transferring the same from the station 5 to a sending station 7 by using a rotary transferring means 8 of a type including at least first and second coaxial rotary shafts 9, 10 suited to be mutually rotated independently with electrically operated means 12, 13 whose speeds are determined by a controller, wherein the step for grouping and transferring the articles that the first and second shafts are each connected to first and second rotary transferring systems 15, 16 at inconstant transferring speeds VT determined by the controller and the step for advancing the articles 2 in the form of the continuous batches 3 mutually separated along a sending belt 6 from the station 7 at a sending speed VS faster than the input speed VE are included, is provided.
