Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel cord which is used for reinforcing rubber products, has good rubber material invasiveness, is free from the slip of a core strand group and an intermediate strand group, has a stable twist structure, is little extended with low loads, and has a three-layered structure. SOLUTION: The cord 10 having an L+M+N structure is produced by twisting intermediate strands 12 each having smaller pitch approximately sine wave-like curls than the pitches of curls for twisting all strands, around a core strand 11, further twisting side strands 13, and then pressing in the direction crossing the longitudinal direction of the cord. A steel cord having a 1×P structure is produced by simultaneously twisting all intermediate strands each having a smaller pitch approximately sine wave-like curls than the pitches of curls for twisting the strands with other strands, and then pressing the twisted product. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fatigue life of a steel cord wire strand when the wire strand is embedded in belt, tire, etc. made of a rubber or a synthetic resin. SOLUTION: The steel cord wire strand 1C is constituted by twisting flat steel cords 2e and 2f in which crimp having same pitch is formed while shifting the positions of wave form. A steel cord strand 1A (in Fig. 1) obtained by twisting a flat single wire steel cord 2a in which crimp is not formed with a flat single wire steel cord 2b in which crimp is formed and a steel cord strand 1B obtained by twisting flat steel cords 2c and 2d (in Fig. 2) in which crimps having different pitches are formed are also disclosed. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire that is economical and provides durability and good comfortableness. SOLUTION: This radial tire comprises a carcass leading from a tread section to a bead-core of a bead section through a sidewall section, and a band layer that is disposed inside the tread section and outside the carcass and is formed by spirally winding a band cord substantially in parallel with the tire equator. The band cord is formed using a total of nine metal bare wires F including molded bare wire FA molded in a shape having at least five or more two-dimensional waves, and is formed of a metal cord formed by twisting two-four bare wire bundles B formed by twisting the plurality of metal bare wires F. [Object] A hollow stranded wire line, for manipulation, having an excellent torque transmittability is provided. [Solution] A hollow stranded wire line 2 for manipulation is a hollow stranded wire line 2 that is advantageously used as a stranded wire line for manipulation in a medical instrument, and a side wire 4 or a side strand which is an outermost layer has a forming rate that is greater than 100% and not greater than 110%. The side wire 4 or the side strand having been formed has a spiral shape in which a flatness that is an aspect ratio obtained by a major axis being divided by a minor axis is preferably not less than 1.01 and preferably not greater than 1.10.

A steel cord (50) comprises a core layer and an outer layer. The core layer comprises a number of first steel filaments (10) and the outer layer comprises a number of second steel filaments (20). The outer layer is helically twisted around the core layer. The first steel filaments have a twisting pitch greater than 310mm. At least one of the first steel filaments (10) is wavy preformed in one plane. At least one of the second steel filaments (20) is polygonally preformed.
