Abstract:
A fault diagnosing method based on a simulated vaccine is provided. The fault diagnosing method comprises steps of: establishing a dynamic simulation model for simulating a start-up operation and a steady-state operation of a technological process according to process information, an operating procedure and historical data of the technological process; running the dynamic simulation model; extracting data within a first predetermined time from the simulated normal sample set to generate a normal simulated vaccine, and extracting data within a second predetermined time from the simulated fault sample set to generate a fault simulated vaccine; acquiring the historical data of the technological process; obtaining an immune antibody coefficient of the normal simulated vaccine, and generating a normal antibody library; and obtaining an immune antibody coefficient of the fault simulated vaccine, and generating a fault antibody library according to the fault simulated vaccine.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for fine-grained sparing in non-volatile memories (48) are disclosed. A system (10) may include a memory (48) having a plurality of blocks, a plurality of tags (110) and a plurality of spared lines (102), wherein each of the tags (110 corresponds to one of the plurality of spared lines (102), and a table (74) having a plurality of machine addresses (76), wherein each machine address (76) corresponds to a sparing area (100) for each of the blocks (84) of the plurality of blocks. Methods of operation of a fine-grained sparing system (70, 100) are also disclosed.
Abstract:
Some embodiments of the invention provide techniques whereby a user may perform a system reset (e.g., to address system performance and/or reliability degradation, such as which may be caused by unused applications that unnecessarily consume system resources, an attempted un-install of an application that left remnants of the application behind, and/or other causes). In some embodiments, performing a system reset replaces a first instance of an operating system on the system with a new instance of the operating system, and removes any applications installed on the system, without disturbing the user's data.
Abstract:
An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for implementing conditional storage operations. Storage clients access and allocate portions of an address space of a non-volatile storage device. A conditional storage request is provided, which causes data to be stored to the non-volatile storage device on the condition that the address space of the device can satisfy the entire request. If only a portion of the request can be satisfied, the conditional storage request may be deferred or fail. An atomic storage request is provided, which may comprise one or more storage operations. The atomic storage request succeeds if all of the one or more storage operations are complete successfully. If one or more of the storage operations fails, the atomic storage request is invalidated, which may comprise deallocating logical identifiers of the request and/or invalidating data on the non-volatile storage device pertaining to the request.
