    Abstract: A reduced length filter including a housing having a female connector end and an opposed male connector end, and a circuit board positioned within the housing.     Abstract: A filter assembly, comprising first and second terminal caps in opposing relation to each other. The caps are physically and electrically coupled to each other. First and second circuit boards are physically coupled to the first cap. The first circuit board includes—(i) front and rear surfaces, (ii) a first circuit located on either or both of the front and rear surfaces, (iii) a ground lead connected to the first circuit, and (iv) a first electrical terminal coupled to the first circuit.     Abstract: A tool and method for bypassing a signal. The bypass tap tool generally comprises a housing, a pair of conductively interconnected contact assemblies and an insulation assembly. The contact assemblies are positioned in and extending from the housing. The insulator assembly is mounted on the housing and includes two insulator extensions. Each extension is adjacent to a respective contact assembly and is moveable between a non-insulating position and an extended insulating position.To prepare the signal tap for service, the bypass tap tool is interconnected with the signal tap with the contact assemblies entering the plug ports and conductively contacting the contact terminals to provide a bypass route and the extensions are moved from the non-insulating position to the extended insulating position wherein they are adjacent to and insulate the contact terminals.

    Abstract: A tamper-resistant terminator includes a connector body rotatably encapsulated with a shield. A port in the shield receives a terminal of a cable transmission system therethrough for rotational engagement with a threaded bore within the connector body. Another port in the shield provides access to a socket defined by a smooth continuous cylindrical body. The socket and the threaded bore extend in opposite directions along a longitudinal axis about which the shield is freely rotatable. A tool includes a tubular shaft having a knurled portion at the free end extends from a first handle section. A disc residing adjacent the end of the tubular shaft is carried by a shaft rotatably journaled with the tubular shaft and drivingly engaged with a second handle section. In response to relative rotation between the handle sections the disc and the knurled section of the tubular shaft move between a concentric portion for telescoping movement within the socket of the connector body and an eccentric portion in for driving engagement with the socket.

    Abstract: A tamper-proof and theft-proof electrical connector including a termination unit with a hexagonal front portion internally threaded to be fitted to an externally threaded output terminal of a distributing source. The unit has a rear portion smaller in diameter than the front portion. An annular groove is provided in the rear portion, and a cylindrical clip is retained in the groove. The clip has leaf spring tines which have ends that are spaced from but extend outwardly and toward the front portion. A locking shield is then provided which covers the entire length of the termination unit. The locking shield has an annular portion to fit between the tines and the front portion. The locking shield can be removed with a tool that depresses the tines.
