Embodiments of the present invention provide a communication system and method to support a conference between a plurality of people; the method comprising the steps of establishing conference communication channels between at least a pair of communication devices of the plurality of people, having authenticated at least one person of the plurality of people using a voice sample of that at least one person.

An improved authentication system utilizes multi-factor user authentication. In an exemplary embodiment, one authentication factor is the user's speech pattern, and another authentication factor is a one-time passcode. The speech pattern and the passcode may be provided via voice portal and/or browser input. The speech pattern is routed to a speaker verification subsystem, while the passcode is routed to a passcode validation subsystem. Many other combinations of input types are also possible. For heightened security, the two (or more) authentication factors are preferably, although not necessarily, provided over differing communication channels (i.e., they are out-of-band with respect to each other). If a user is authenticated by the multi-factor process, he is given access to one or more desired secured applications. Policy and authentication procedures may be abstracted from the applications to allow a single sign-on across multiple applications.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for the voice-operated identification of the user of a telecommunication line in a telecommunications network during an interactive communication using a voice-operated conversational system. According to the invention, during a person-to-person and/or person-to-machine conversation, the verbal expressions of a caller in a group of callers that is restricted to a telecommunication line are used to create a reference pattern for the user. A user identification is stored for each reference pattern. Said identification is activated after recognition of the user and, together with the CLI or ANI, is made available to a server with a voice-operated conversational system. Data for this user, which has already been saved using the CLI with user identification is determined by the system and made available for the interaction with the client. The inventive method can be advantageously used in voice-operated conversational systems.

The present disclosure relates to a friend addition method and device. The method includes that: when a voiceprint-based friend addition request is received, target voice information is acquired (S11); user information of a user to be added is determined (S12) according to the target voice information; and the user to be added is added (S13) as a friend according to the user information. With the technical solution, the technical effect of adding the friend through a voice is achieved; and moreover, such a friend addition process may be implemented only by inputting the voice information without interaction among multiple terminals, so that operations of a user are simplified, the friend addition process is more convenient and faster, and friend addition real-time performance is improved.
