(A) a tertiary amine compound or a salt there of, (B) an amino-modified organopolysiloxane having long-chain alkyl side chains at both terminals represented by a general formula (1) (RR)SiO-(RSiO)x-(RRSiO)y-Si(RR) wherein Ris a C12 to 30 straight chain or branched alkyl group, Ris a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to 6 monovalent hydrogen carbide, Ris 3-aminopropyl group or an N-2-(2-aminoethyl)-3-aminopropyl group, x is an integer of 1 to 2,000 and y is an integer of 1 to 100, (C) a lotus of a lotus genus of a lotus family or extract of the same.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of and a device for applying a low-friction coefficient coating to a metal surface.SOLUTION: There is disclosed an article or device such as surgical devices, needles such as surgical needles, razor, cutting/slicing devices containing a metallic surface, a primer layer disposed on the metallic surface, and a top coat disposed on the primer layer, wherein the primer layer is formed from a primer composition containing a silanol-containing organopolysiloxane resin and a crosslinking agent being alkyl silicates, and wherein the top coat is formed from a top coat composition containing an alkenyl functional polyorganosiloxane, an organohydrogensiloxane, and a hydrosilylation catalyst.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent, self-adhesive polyorganosiloxane composition having high adhesion to a base material formed from a noble-metal, such as Ag or Au, and a PPA.SOLUTION: The self-adhesive polyorganosiloxane composition includes: (A) 100 pts.wt of a polyorganosiloxane having an alkenyl group; (B) a polyorganohydrogensiloxane in such an amount that the number of hydrogen atoms is within the range of 0.1-4.0 per one alkenyl group in the component (A); (C) a platinum-based catalyst in a catalytic amount; and (D) as an adhesiveness-imparting agent, (D1) an isocyanuric acid derivative having (i) an alkoxysilyl group and/or an epoxy group, and (iii) a group containing a divalent siloxy unit represented by formula: -[(CH)SiO]-Si(CH)-(wherein, m is an integer of 1-5) and (D2) a silane or siloxane compound having alkoxy group and/or epoxy group, and no isocyanuric ring, in an amount of 0.1-10 pts.wt in total.

SOLUTION: The composition includes (A) 100 pts.wt. of poly-organo-siloxane having a molecular chain terminal blocked by a hydroxyl group or a hydrolyzable group and having viscosity at 23°C of 20-1,000,000 mPa s, (B) 1-400 pts.wt. of calcium carbonate being subjected to surface treatment by a fatty acid having a branched alkyl group or its salt as a filler, and (C) 0.001-10 pts.wt. of a curing catalyst. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyurethane expandable composition for obtaining a hard polyurethane foam having excellently improved surface brittleness and friability, and also having improved adhesiveness to a face material by using water as a foaming agent.SOLUTION: The polyurethane expandable composition contains each of (A) a polyol, (B) an organic polyisocyanate, (C) a catalyst, (D) a foam stabilizer and (E) the water as the foaming agent, and further contains (F) γ-butyrolactone in an amount of 0.01-20 mass%. As the foaming agent, water is preferably used singly.

SOLUTION: The condensation-curable silicone mold making compositions containing an olefin or acetylene polymerization inhibitor have a longer useful life for making casts from curable resins comprising a polymerizable olefin relative to compositions where such a polymerization inhibitor is absent.
