Abstract: PURPOSE: A seal glass is provided to reduce manufacturing cost and improve productivity by sealing glasses in a vacuum furnace. CONSTITUTION: A seal glass is manufactured by coating and drying paste of a frit glass(20) on both surfaces of a side glass(10) with dispensing or screen printing, arranging the frit glass coated side glass(10) in a vacuum chamber(30) and heating to melt the frit glass(20) to remove a binder and gas(21) from the frit glass(20). The side glass(10) is tailored depending on a desired size to be a rectangular frame. The seal glass is also manufactured by tailoring glass bars, coating and drying the frit glass on both surface of the glass bars, arranging the coated glass bars as the rectangle frame, re-coating and drying the frit glass at joints of the glass bars. A capping seal glass is manufactured by coating and drying the frit glass on only one surface of the side glass(10).
