Abstract: Systems and methods for creating stations by adding new media streams are provided. A system and method can include a graphical interface having a group of graphical elements associated with remotely stored media streams, and an initiation object for adding new media streams. Input corresponding to a selection of the initiation object to display new stream options can be received. Input corresponding to a selection of a new stream option can be received. A selection indication of an added new media stream can be provided. Adding a new media stream can include displaying a graphical animation that adds a graphical element associated with the new media stream to the group of graphical elements on the graphical interface.

Abstract: In some implementations, a computing device can be configured to automatically turn off notifications when generating a notification would cause a disturbance or be unwanted by a user. The device can be configured with quiet hours during which notifications that would otherwise be generated by the computing device can be suppressed. In some implementations, quiet hours can be configured as a time period with a start time and an end time. In some implementations, quiet hours can be derived from application data. For example, calendar data, alarm clock data, map data, etc. can be used to determine when quiet hours should be enforced. In some implementations, the device can be configured with exceptions to quiet hour notification suppression. In some implementations, the user can identify contacts to which the quiet hours notification suppression should not be applied.

Abstract: An electronic device, in response to an input directed to a first user interface displays a second user interface, and in response to continuously detecting a contact on a button while displaying the second user interface, including detecting an increase in a characteristic intensity of the contact above a first intensity threshold, displays a beginning of a transition from the second user interface back to the first user interface. If the contact on the button is part of an input sequence that meets first criteria, the device ceases to display the second user interface and redisplays the first user interface on the display; and if the input sequence meets second criteria, the device reverses the beginning of the transition from the second user interface back to the first user interface, and redisplays the second user interface on the display.

Abstract: In an exemplary method performed at an electronic device with a touch-sensitive display. The method includes concurrently displaying a first application and a second application on the touch-sensitive display. Immediately following detecting the first contact: detecting a gesture from a location of the first contact towards an edge of the touch-sensitive display. Upon detecting the gesture: selecting a fixed display area from a plurality of predefined fixed display areas for the second application; automatically resizing the second application to the selected fixed display area; and automatically resizing the first application to occupy substantially all of a remaining area of the touch-sensitive display.

Abstract: An electronic device, in response to receiving a first message from an electronic device that corresponds to another user, displays the first message in a first message region in a conversation transcript. In response to a first input by a contact at a location of the first message in the conversation transcript, the device displays plurality of acknowledgement options in an acknowledgement selection affordance at a location that corresponds to the first message region. In response to a second input by a second contact at a location of a first acknowledgement option in the acknowledgement selection affordance, the device applies the first acknowledgement option to the first message and transmits information that causes the electronic device that correspond to the other user to apply the first acknowledgement option to a corresponding first message in a conversation transcript that corresponds to the messaging session.

Abstract: An electronic device displays a messaging user interface on a display, the messaging user interface including a conversation transcript of a messaging session between a user of the electronic device and at least one other user, a keyboard, a message-input area, and a digital image affordance. While displaying the messaging user interface, the device detects an input that activates the digital image affordance. In response, the device replaces display of the keyboard with display of a plurality of digital images, the plurality of digital images including one or more digital images stored in memory and a live preview image from a digital camera. The device detects an input that selects the live image displayed within the plurality of digital images. In response, the device captures a digital image with the digital camera, while maintaining display of the conversation transcript.

Abstract: An electronic device, while displaying application content for a first application on a touchscreen display, detects an input comprising one or more touches on a region of the touchscreen display that includes the application content of the first application.
