    Abstract: PURPOSE:To immediately execute driving at a constant linear speed at the time of activation, etc., by comparing a reproducing wobble signal with a prescribed reference signal and controlling a spindle motor at the constant linear speed until a data signal is exactly fetched. CONSTITUTION:A first spindle servo circuit 30 inputs a 1/12 dividing 30A signal of a wobble signal SWB to a phase detecting circuit 30B. A 1/4 dividing 30C signal of a reference clock CKSB is inputted to the circuit 30. The circuit 30B compares the both signal and sends a compared result to an input edge (a) of a switching circuit 32 as a spindle servo signal SBSP1. A second spindle servo circuit 31 inputs a 1/3 dividing 31A signal of a bit clock CKBIT to a phase detecting circuit 31B. The signal CKSB is inputted to the circuit 31B. The circuit 31B sends the compared result of the both signals to an input edge (b) of the circuit 31 as a spindle servo signal SBSP2. A switching control circuit 34 selects the input edge (a) of the circuit 32 when a CRC error is detected by prescribed times on the basis of a CKC error flag FGCRC but otherwise the input edge (b) is selected.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method and an apparatus in which an economical burden is reduced by a method wherein auxiliary data is read out from a copy source disk, so as to be stored in a storage region and the auxiliary data is recorded, from the storage region, in a copy destination disk, which is loaded after the copy source disk is discharged. SOLUTION: Auxiliary data on a static image or the like which becomes an auxiliary data file which is independent of data on a piece of music or the like as a program is recorded in copy source disk 90, in addition to the data on the piece of music. As the recording region of the auxiliary data, 38 clusters are prepared inside a U-TOC, and the auxiliary data is JPEC- compressed and recorded here. When the copy source disk 90 is placed, a system controller 11 reads out the auxiliary data so as to be retained in a buffer memory RAM 13. After the copying operation of the auxiliary data is instructed, the copy source disk 90 is replaced by a new disk to be copied. Then, the system controller extracts desired data from the data in the RAM 13, and the data is recorded in a space area inside the U-TOC on the copy source disk 90, which is placed at present.
