The nodular graphite cast iron includes 3.4 wt % to 3.9 wt % of carbon (C), 2.0 wt % to 3.0 wt % of silicon (Si), 0.3 wt % to 1.0 wt % of manganese (Mn), 0.1 wt % to 1.0 wt % of chromium (Cr), 0.04 wt % to 0.15 wt % of titanium (Ti), less than 0.08 w % of phosphorus (P), less than 0.025 wt % of sulphur (S), 0.03 wt % to 0.05 wt % of magnesium (Mg), 0.02 wt % to 0.04 wt % of rare earth resource, iron (Fe) and impurities as the remnants, and includes a bainite matrix structure, nodular graphite, and 15 vol % to 35 vol % of carbide.
Abstract:
A vane pump is provided that may include a rotor having a plurality of slots formed on an outer circumferential surface thereof; a vane slidably inserted into each of the plurality of slots; and a cam ring configured to receive the rotor therein and having a inner circumferential surface in contact with an end portion of the vane. The rotor may be formed of nodular graphite cast iron, the vane may be formed of high speed tool steel, and the cam ring may be formed of alloy cast iron.
Abstract:
A rotatable drive shaft in the swash pump or turbine for liquids is supported by one bearing at each end. An integrated motor or dynamo uses the same two bearings. The compound first bearing supports a slanted section of the drive shaft placed inside the inner swash sphere, and transfers rotational power to the attached nutatable swash plate. The second bearing confines rotation of the drive shaft in a defined axis. Either one of the bearings is made to prevent axial movement of the drive shaft, preventing swash pump misalignment. A resilient drive, and an immersed pump are described.
Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a compressor slider includes a slider preform manufacturing step, a resin coating step, and a machining step. In the slider preform manufacturing step, an iron slider preform in which at least one property selected from the tensile strength and the tensile modulus of elasticity is greater than that of flake graphite cast iron is manufactured using a prescribed mold. In the resin coating step, the slider preform is not machined, but the resin coating layer is formed on all or a part of the slider preform. In the machining step, only the resin coating layer is machined, and a completed slider is obtained.
Abstract:
A dry vacuum pump comprises a stator component and at least one rotor component. To improve the tolerance of the pump to corrosive gases passing through the pump, the stator component and/or said at least one rotor component are formed from silicon-molybdenum (SiMo) ductile iron.
Abstract:
A scroll compressor includes a scroll member having a base and a generally spiral wrap that extends from the base to define a portion of a compression chamber. The scroll member is made of a cast iron material comprising a microstructure having graphite nodules.
Abstract:
A compressor has a housing assembly and at least one rotor held by the housing assembly for rotation about a rotor axis. The rotor has a first face and a first housing element has a second face in facing spaced-apart relation to the first face of the rotor. One or more spacer elements are positioned from the first housing element. The spacer elements are machined. A coating is applied over the first surface around the one or more spacer elements.
Abstract:
A method for controlling the operation of a vacuum pump when stopping the gas transferring operation thereof, the vacuum pump having a housing in which a pump chamber is formed and a gas transferring body which is rotatably disposed in the pump chamber for transferring gas, the method comprises the steps of reducing rotational speed of the gas transferring body to a first preset speed below a second preset speed that is lower than a normal speed of the gas transferring body during normal gas transferring operation of the vacuum pump, maintaining the speed of the gas transferring body below the second preset speed, and stopping the rotation of the gas transferring body when the temperature of the housing reaches a predetermined temperature which is lower than that of the housing during the normal gas transferring operation of the vacuum pump.

Abstract:
A rotary compressor for compressing a working fluid includes a housing having an oil sump. A stationary shaft extends into the housing and includes a longitudinal passage. The longitudinal passage has an oil inlet in fluid communication with the oil sump. A working fluid inlet receives the working fluid. A motor has a stator and a rotor. The rotor is rotatably mounted on the shaft within the housing and includes an internal compression chamber in fluid communication with the longitudinal passage. A roller is rotatably mounted on the shaft and eccentrically disposed within the compression chamber. The roller is coupled to the rotor such that rotation of the rotor rotates the roller and thereby compresses the working fluid within the compression chamber.
